10 CC were so sissy their first #1 song (UK) was Rubber Bullets.   They could not cope with the real ones.

Rubber Bullets became "Robert Goulets" for the Québec Market! ;)

Has anyone read this story?  Dead Soldier's Family Gets Pup He Held  Here's a picture and caption from the article:

Tired from a long trip, Hero the dog sits with her new Newport, N.H., family, Skip and Rhonda Rollins and Brittney Murray, in the office of Rep. Paul Hodes, D-N.H. in Concord, N.H. Friday, May 25, 2007. Rollins' son, Army Spc. Justin Rollins, was killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq a day after adopting the pup. Hodes assisted in bringing the dog to the United States for Rollins' family. (AP Photo/Cheryl Senter)

For the closing celebration of the Film Festival here in France, a special presentation of 2 Cole Porter's musicals are scheduled:

"Cannes-Cannes" starring Chita RIVIERA!

"High Society" with Lance Armstrong, Bill Cosby and a special appearance by Gene Kelly!

(I love "reruns"; don't you too?)

Just like French class...

Repetez, s'il vous plait...

Pardonnez-moi for not including the accents aigu and grave and the circumflexe.

With four sets of batteries, I was able to get about five photos before all the batteries were dead.

DR Laura, did you try the type of batteries that my DH recommended?
I rarely have to change batteries when I'm taking a lot of pictures if I start of with a recharged set.

You'd need to be a millionaire to attend the celebration François. I can't can't. (even though The Riviera is all the rage)
It was Janis Ian who was "Society's Child" (even before she learned  the truth at 17)

I guess Lance Armstrong's bicycle is named :True Love" rather than a yacht.  With bicycle clips Oh!(calypso)

Just wanted to say hello to everybody from the great state of Iowa. Having a nice break up here, Cill took some of out for dinner, had a great time. We're headed out to enjoy the nightlife.

Aren't skeet an endangered species?
Given that Jericho was cancelled, Mr. Ulrich might think so.

I'm leaving work and I'm not coming back until Wednesday!  We have Monday off (Memorial Day) and I'm taking Tuesday off, so I'll have a four day weekend!  I only have plans for tomorrow (ushering for a tour of Hairspray!!) and Sunday morning (brunch with mom at the Red Wind casino) and the rest of the time will be for whatever I want. :D

But first, I need to go to my sister's house and replace a light fixture.  It shouldn't take too long.

Until later!

I rarely have to change batteries when I'm taking a lot of pictures if I start of with a recharged set.

It is something inside the camera itself. My DH thinks it is the battery contacts and is trying to fix it.

Uh oh. Maybe it will be like at my house when we replaced a light fixture, which then turned into a new sink, vanity, bathtub, faucets, paint, etc.
