Helper arrived right on time, she'd done everything she needed to do with the invoices, and had already done some fairly intricate publishing stuff we had to get to a publisher who handles most of the CDs we've done - she's just great.  She also organized stuff.  Then I took my car to the Glendale Infiniti service department - they're also great - what a difference from the awful Van Nuys people.  It turns out the car was originally bought from there, then the owner defaulted immediately, the car was sold at auction to the people I got it from.  Anyway, the whole thing took less than an hour - they fixed the couple of little things I pointed out to them and that was that.

We had close to 200 orders for Promises since the announcement - which basically pays for the relicensing and the pressing - so everything from here on out is profit.

Long day here...haven't even had breakfast yet! I've been running since I took PEter to the airpot at 8 this morning. (Then they cancelled his flight!) But we finished the trailer for the film and the final version should be up shortly. Here's the penultimate version if anyone would like to take a look---we have made some minor fixes since this one. It's always a little weird cutting the trailer for your own film:

And now to send a big file of the trailer out on Fed-Ex, where film prints will be made to run in Cineplex theatres in Canada. Since it's being released in Canada in September, DR Jennifer will get to see an American show before us here in the US!

Bruce:  I can think of no finer pairing at FSM Messageboard than JoeCaps and Rich...two individuals CLEARLY meant for one another.   One tall tale after another...ad infinitum.

Hey everyone.  Sorry to be a bit E/T, it's been a heck of a week since the return from vacation. All Shook Up opened last night and is really great for a "Camp" show.  Meaning a show done at a camp :)   I'm proud of my kids.  I ended up running the sound board for the show as we are using the MT Pit service for the music.  It works really well in a small space.  I'm happy with it.   Next, I'm working on the Prince Street Players version of Pinnochio with 8-12 year-olds (which is CUTE!!!) and Disney's Aladdin Jr. with another group of 8-12 year-olds and that is turning out to be great also.   

Also in the process of preparing for Sunset Blvd auditions at the end of August, also hiring that orchestra (reduced to 11, god help me!) and getting good friends of mine to come audition.  In the meantime, there is Annie to program into the keyboard for next week, and somewhere down the line, pull out the accordion to get "in shape" for La Cage,,, in September.

Well, now that you know WAY too much about what's happening over here in the SF Bay Area.  I promise to check in and participate as much as possible as to not go the way of Facebook and other alternate entertainments.
