I actively seek out people who'll impose upon my well-being and serenity JUST so I can hurt their feelings.

So do I. (Must be a first name thing)

Comment of the Creature CD:

I popped it into the player to give it a listen while I was internet surfing. My initial reaction was to be surprised to hear what sounded like a very serious (very good) film score - but wondered about using it behind a film spoof. After reading the liner notes, it seems my observation was not too far off the mark.)

Did I say serenity?  I meant people who impose on my senilty.

I often forget about my senility.

:)

An awful debility,
A lessened utility,
A loss of mobility
Is a strong possibility.
In all probability
I'll lose my virility
And you your fertility
And desirability,
And this liability
Of total sterility
Will lead to hostility
And a sense of futility,
So let's act with agility
While we still have facility,
For we'll soon reach senility
And lose the ability.

I only have the VHS of THE LONG LONG TRAILER - and often thought it was filmed in CinemaScope, but there is no such credit on the screen....

Lucy's hair looks almost green sometimes...certainly not the glorious carrot orange from the Technicolor films of the 40's....isn't this Ansco Color with a print by Technicolor?  Anyway....saw it at the drive-in and will always love it!!

Congrats to MR BK on the small fixes....changing a verb can sometimes change everything you know....like changing a pronoun.

Drove to a favorite but not often-shopped-at store today only to discover that it is no longer in business.  Ruined my shopping day even though I went to a similar NEW place and a couple of other places.

Has anybody here heard of a kid's group called hi-5. They are sort of like the wiggles.  Anyhow my 1 1/2 yr old niece is completely obcessed with them!

She watches them on tv (they are from australia). I got her 2 dvds online (they don't sell them here) and all she wants to do is watch them!

Ya know, Kirstie Alley still looks kind of--er--not skinny to me, but i kind of like her shape.  She has a very 50's-ish kind of figure.  I think we talked about it a while back--zaftig?

Now she will do the same thing for Valerie Bertenelli!

Yes, it could mean the tub is in place.

Ha ha ha -- oh man, nothing like terrible audition experiences.

I blazed back here into LA today so that I could make an audition this afternoon for a staged reading/production of a musical based on the movie "Mermaids" - which starred Cher.  They had specifically asked for a 1960's pop song for the audition.

So, there were only about 7 people at this open call - I was the last one who had walked in; it started up at least a half hour late; then when I finally went it, the pianist couldn't play "Runaround Sue," the song I had picked.  So, having been frazzled from driving 6 hours and not really thinking about it when I had left the house, I didn't really have any other music to sing.  So, we gave "Miracle of Miracles" a shot, but the accompanist could barely figure that one out as well...

Okay, God, I get it - this one wasn't meant to be!  :D

In any case... I got into Westport around Noon, and I've been going(!) every since.  WHEEEE!!!!!!!!

And now, First Preview.  -Pray for Rosemary's Baby.

*And, yes, I will be back up here tomorrow afternoon...
