I've missed so many times to say "Congratulations" and such to so many over this past week.  I have appreciated the support of all the Kimlets and Hainsies over this not pleasant time.

And there is nothing wrong with saddle shoes. They are beautiful and comfortable and beautiful. So there.

Glad you made it home safe, BK.  I’m also glad you had a very productive trip.  I would like to know if it might be possible that you might be joining us in NYC for the October gathering.  That would be great!

Wonderful photos!  Always good to “see” everyone.  I was very glad to get a look at DR Elmore to see that he is ok.

I’m equally grateful to see DR TomovOz posting and among us once again.

Congrats to your son, DR Ginny!  Good for him!  Like you, I put in for my vacation and saw it was APPROVED for the week of October 3-7.  It seems like everything is falling into place.

Say, I didn’t see anyone answer my question about the weather in October.  

DR Jose, no rush.  I can send you a hard copy if you need/want one but you need to tell me where.

I am so looking forward to tonight’s episode of “Lost”.  It’s about the last show that I look forward to each week.  Now that “Joan of Arcadia” is canceled and “JAG” is over, it’s slim pickings for me.

I can’t believe I left a word out of my post about the dogs and chains.  I hope you understood I meant to say:

 I just hope that the new homes solution is NOT (as in NOT, NOT, NOT)  a tree and a chain.  

My fingers know not what they type sometimes.

Merchant was unmarried and had no children.

What a slap in the face to James Ivory who was his life and business partner for over 44 years. It was not a secret that they were a couple.

Well, I revised that comment, as you can see, but I find him a limited talent trying to launch his own career on the coattails of his betters, namely P.G. Wodehouse and Noel Coward.  His research in his complete lyrics of Wodehouse was poor, his notes inaccurate, and a lot of his errors could have been corrected by examining the program files of the NYPL Theatre Collection.  

We have friends in common, Robert Kimball being one of them, but he's not my friend nor am I his.
