And on that note, I find I'm late for lunch. Later.

I guess no one read the notes today because I see not one excellent vibe or xylophone for good weather for my trip.

Jesus, BK! You're not flying until Thursday!

But there are storms kicking up along the eastern seaboard...and those vibes and (especially the) xylophones might need a good few days' head start to ward off any tropical storm headwinds that could force a landing in Jersey.

Well, I really wasn't that interesting seeing the upcoming musical adaption of Almadovar's "Women On the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown", but after seeing this promo pic of Danny Burstein...

All 22 cartons are now sealed and ready to be shipped to Ohio. If only one of my checks for foundation work turns up in the post.

I have to thank DR cillaliz for the Jaarsma Bakery info, I believe. Several Dutch letters arrived in UPS today and I believe I will take them to tomorrow's recording session. I just had one of them: deelish!

*Although, actually, I am in interested in seeing Women on the Verge.... It features a great cast of Divas and Divettes, in addition to Brian Stokes Mitchell and Danny Burstein.  And a score by David Yazbek - which is what interests me most.

Job vibes for DR GEORGE.

DR TCB - as a former state employee - your posts from yesterday sound all too familiar.

I didn't recognize Mr Burstein.

LOL....I am sure Mr Filichia is a fine man, I have some of his books.  But he is probably tired of hearing from people in the stix.

Topic of the Day:

In my CD player:  the original Broadway cast recording of Goldilocks, starring Elaine Stritch; and then the original off-Broadway cast recording of Dames at Sea, starring Bernadette Peters.

Last episode of AS THE WORLD TURNS is quite ingeniously structured and really well acted. It is confirmed today that the state where the town is situated is Illinois, but no one is yet explaining how folk walk out their door and arrive at the South Street Seaport, Central Park, Chicago, or France Yurp in seconds.

I'll send you some GOLDILOCKS mp3s of the dance music. The "Lady In Waiting" ballet is glorious.

Yesterday I got an e-mail from my boss that simply stated "Jesus will be here tomorrow at 8:30"

It gave me quite a start, until I remembered that Jesus works in our Information Technology Division and is responsible for updating my bosses Blackberry.

This morning I got to work and called an accountant.  I have an appointment set up for Tuesday.  I can get everything ready for the auditor monday, no problem, but I have realized that I need a better system for the books and it's time to call in a professional.  I am feeling much better about it already

:D  Vibes you are happy with the accountant.

Tomorrow would have been John McGlinn's 57th birthday. I will be working on a recording of music he would have eventually gotten to if he hadn't been such an insane self-destructive person. I hope you will all take a moment to listen to something from one of his recordings.
