When films like The Faculty appear on my digital cable service as nocharge-on Demand shows, do you see $$$ associated with every viewing, or does Comcast just kick in a generic monthly licensing fee for all films that gets divvied up somehow?

I was listening to The Manhattan Transfer sing "Snootie Little Cutie" from their TV show in the 1970s!  Someone has a fansite for Laurel Massé (founding member and original soprano) and he posts videos of their 4-episode summer replacement TV show and I'm making audio recordings of them!  That's my excuse story. ;D

When you rereleased Subways Are For Sleeping; the bonus tracks consisted of demos written for the show. Did you try to get the rights to the McGuire Sisters recording of the show as they sung some of the songs that were dropped from the show?

Guilty as charged, BK!  Going out to live entertainment events 2 weeknights in a row really puts a dent in my time for visiting here.  The concert last night at Miami University was excellent - Men's Glee Club and Cantus.  It was past my bedtime when we got home.

When an item appears on the IKEA website and says that you have to buy it from the store, but then you check the local store's inventory and it's not in stock, are you S.O.L. or will they order it for you? If they order it, do you then have to pay their shipping charges?

DR Cillaliz, I haven't been on stage for a theatrical production, but I love it when I can sit on stage with an orchestra. Some halls, like the one in Toronto, are set up like that. I love to be able to see the conductor's face and read over the shoulders of the musicians!

DR Jose, thanks for the HGO FAUST production from Playbill.  Bill Burden is such a good guy!  I got to know him when he sang the Doctor on the complete MOST HAPPY FELLA recording with Emily Loesser.  I had seen him at City Opera and recommended him for the role.  His beautiful (vocal and visually) wife Carol played Dory in the Utah production of GREENWILLOW that I worked on.  Bill came to the opening night performance.  He just played Candide at the Paris Opera with my friend Kim Criswell.  

How many names can I drop in one paragraph??????

I'm getting very frustrated with someone at the tax office who is a constant "Tag you're it" specialist, sending an email for something and assuming it's been completely passed on to someone else (for example, me), and not even bothering trying to get the info to make the assignment possible.  This is someone new to our office, but who has been with the office we merged with for years and years - I'm amazed this has been acceptable, unless it's just a matter of this person testing what can be gotten away with in our new combined office.
