BY time we got home after 11 PM I was exhausted - having had virtually no sleep the night before so i was out like a light

Watching "Vanya on 42nd Street" tonight. I've been meaning to watch this for awhile and just haven't seen it since it came out at the theater. I don't think Julianne Moore has ever been more radiant. Larry Pine and Wally Shawn are impeccable, and Brooke Smith breaks my heart, but it's George Gaynes, so self-centered and sanctimonious, that impresses me most this time. Just a great version of Chekov.

the ICON is held at a university and we need to do a great deal of walking so I do not know if it is just the fact that I spend far too much time sitting at my desk these days and far too little in any physical activity but I have a terrible pain in the front of my left ankle - Vixdad has me icing it right now - since I hate cold on my skin this is possibly more miserable than the pain in the ankle

Long story short: police were called, I don't think those particular Jehovah's Witnesses will be returning here anytime soon. Aside from the charges I could press for unlawful entry, Lake Oswego also has a very aggressive anti-solicitation law that they were in violation of.

you should have answered the door in your towel!! That would have stopped her!

We tend to hide in the house if we see the JW's coming - but I will chat with them if they come by when I am out gardening in the summers months - as long as they stay outside and make it clear that we are very comfortable with our church and faith and have no wish to be converted -

Rehearsal was really fun - a really feel-good show - we just had a few things to futz with and adjust. However, one of our singers has not done their homework and couldn't remember more than a few words of the first song they sing. It was embarrassing for everyone and the singer - I just don't understand people - this singer has seen two of our shows and knows what I expect. Learning songs can't be put off to the day before and we don't do these shows off-the-cuff - all the other singers knew their stuff and even if they flubbed they covered and went on. I'm hoping the singer got the point and is spending all of tonight and all of tomorrow until the song is in the singer's bones. I'm told this singer does this sort of thing - brings the music up and sings from a lyric sheet or paper - not in our show. If I'm not happy at tomorrow's sound check, out the number goes, which would be a real shame since it's an interesting song and needs to be where it comes in the show. We shall see.

Everytime I turn around you've stripped out wallpaper, repainted - re-tiled - or built a new wing on the house singlehandedly!! and that on top of maintaining a law practice , being active in politic and local scoail aagewndas and playing ina band - If only you lived in Florida DR Danise's problems would have been solved long ago!

So, we've got a soundtrack to a movie scored by Victor Young, Hugo Friedhofer, Franz Waxman, Aaron Copland, Walter Scharf, Leith Stevens and others.
