Must be time for Newbie Gunther to break the lurking habit. 8 months is enough time to develop the courage. It's a party after all. You are very welcome Gunther.

Bruce-lucky you having Sandra’s special cookies.  I’m jealous.

MBarnum- :D

Panni you had me there for a minute (with the black ash).   I would love to see the box the cigarettes came in.
Gosh that doll is cute.

CONGRATULATIONS!  I’m so excited I’m still in town for the celebration.

Tomovoz, Maxwell is a cutie.  I hope he isn’t a hyper Jack Russell as they often are here.

DR Jane: Maxwell is very well behaved - loves to run outside but is calm inside the house. He is not a "barky" dog either. He is very loving.

Where is François de Paree with all this hoopla and partying going on?

Has anyone known a Frenchman to pass on a party?

Honestly!

When I was a kid, I could sing the entire chorus of "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" without taking a breath!

Yeah, well I once recited the Preamble to the Constitution from memory in six seconds.

I'm sorry I missed the 50,000th post, but I was sleeping on my futon.

Now I'm hungry. I should have held on to some of those cookies.

Where are all the party posts?
I'm going out to dinner with DD and her boyfriend. Then they head out for San Diego until Tuesday and I clean up the place and work.

I am losing my mind!

This is not the first time I've wanted to write something only to forget it by the time I get to the end of the posts.

Guess what?

I am actually wearing pajama bottoms and a tank top!  Woohoo!  HHW party attire.

I am wearing my light blue "truly, madly, deeply" pj bottoms.  A little blue mini sports top, a black tank top, and a dark blue longsleeve zippered down comfy jacket.

I'm ready for bed!

Btw, I just looked at the calendar.  I think it's DR Laura II's birthday in a few minutes.

Happy birthday!

Just back from a brisk two mile jog.  Very sweaty, but am at this moment shaking my booty in honor of our partay.

Der Brucer has brought me word from his daughter.

She wants me to cook for the elder grandlad's partay.

After the reception my cooking got the last time, she still wants to me to cook this time.

And she still hasn't asked me, personally.  She asked the first time by asking der Brucer.

She complained the first time by complaining to der Brucer.

She's asking this time by asking der Brucer.

There's a pattern developing here.

I'd rather cook for the partay here any day!  This group doesn't even need to ask politely.  This is a grand group of partayers.

Bring on the ham chunks, cheese slices, and chocolate chip cookies!

Pardon me while I go cook dinner and slip into more comfortable pajama bottoms and a tank top.

Or a pajama top and a tank bottom.

Hmmm, ............Jennifer said at 6:46 p.m. PDT, that Laura II's birthday was in a few minutes.  Now, considering that my calendar lists Laura II's birthday as being on Friday, that would mean that, if it was a few minutes away, Jennifer must have been posting from............................. I bet he says yes.  If so, please find out exactly what they want and make them talk to you directly.

If they want potato salad, I would send over a bowl of boiled potatoes, lightly tossed in Miracle Whip.  Period!  No seasonings, no additives.

I think I have done all I can for tonight.  Except for a few last minute items we are all packed.  Tomovoz, no cookies but I do have sesame sticks.

In case I can’t get on tomorrow, bye and thanks for all the good wishes and good vibes.  I hope you all have a good two weeks while I’m gone.

A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LAURA II! (sorry the pink came out too light to use)

Well, the reviewer probably has not seen any Fox CHAN films. Even though Fox made them, they didn't break the bank with their budgets there either.

Congratulations on reaching another milestone!

Well, Part-Tay on,  peeps!

My attire is a tad casual--just got on a pair of cut-offs here.  But I'll write "SOY BOMB" on my bare chest to add an enigmatical touch to my outfit.

And I've also pretended to invite my pretend girlfriend, Amy Sedaris, over for the festivities and I pretended that she brought along her best friend SJP and husband Matthew.  Matthew is now doing his Marlon Brando!  Oh, Michael--stop!  Stop!  You're killing me!

I hate to do this, but I'm going to sign-off for the night.  And I'm not being a Wussburger.  I have loads of laundry to do because tomorrow starts the American Cancer Society's (Thurston County, WA) Relay-For-Life 24-hour walking marathon!  I'm on a team at work (The Bookers...appropriate for library workers), and I have to be there at 4:00 p.m.  I also have to work in the morning, so I won't be able to get as much sleep tonight as I had wanted.

Anyway, most of our team will stay at the track for the full 24 hours so I won't have any Internet access.  Saturday, when it's all done at 6:00 p.m. (and before I can get any sleep), I'm meeting my family at a restaurant to celebrate my mom's birthday (which was Wednesday)...THEN I'll be able to crash for the night.  Sunday is, of course, Father's Day, then Monday I and my family are going to have dinner at the Space Needle in Seattle to celebrate my parents' 40th wedding anniversary (which is on Tuesday, but my mom has to work that night and couldn't get the time off...she's retiring at the end of the month).  And I'll finally be able to give them the $98.99 ($107.31 with tax) bottle of 1995 Cuvee Dom Perignon champagne that I bought back in February.

Whew! That's one busy weekend! :o But I'll be around tomorrow morning, when I'm at work.  Anyone else that busy?? :D
