And that line from GYPSY:

"You'll pardon me, But to have no talent Is not enough."

BTW, Jose and Jason, are you seeing GYPSY Wed. night?

Still TBA.  -It looks like I'll be going Sunday night for closing, so... We'll see.  I know Jason is supposed to work Legally Blonde that night, so... If anything, we'll probably see the matinee.  -Unless I get called in for ACL.

I finished Harry Potter last night, and then I spent all day playing Super Mario 3 on the Nintendo that came in the mail today. Life is good!

I did manage to watch one more SUPERMAN chapter. In this one, LEx Luthor has managed to steal radium so he can forge synthetic kryptonite. Superman sinks into a stupor as the episode ends.

I have found it amazing how many plots for future SUPERMAN TV episodes were fashioned from this serial. This is at least the fourth event from the serial that wound up later as a TV episode.

THE CLOSER had a simply hysterilca episode tonight. I recorded it and will watch it again later in the week. What a howling good episode!

As for Holly Hunter's new series, I did like the actors very much, but I didn't find the case very involving, and the religious angles in the plot didn't make it any more fascinating for me.

I'll watch one more episode, but I am thinking this is a series that I'll be passing on after next week.

As I turned everything off, I noticed that the DVR was picking up last week's BURN NOTICE episode. I'll watch that tomorrow.

I recorded Saving Grace, but I'm not much into cop or angel dramas so don't know if I'm a good one to report on it

Oh....I love the OBC album for ILLYA DARLING.....particularly side one, and I don't think I have played side two nearly as much.

And Orson makes me laugh on this record.   I would guess I would have liked him in the show a lot.  Just didn't like him in THE CLOSER.

You wouldn't want me to say I like him just to be polite, wouldya?  I might be struck by lightning.  (A Miriam Hopkins reference)

DR FJL....not having talent has NOT stopped many a performer that I have seen.

Don't know if I mentioned this. Nadia's first day as my assistant went well.  It means I've got to get my butt in gear and figure out how I'm going to do everything and to figure out the program etc. I'm having trouble sharing the calendar and other various and sundry thing. So time to call my computer guru tomorrow. I can play another 50 hours or call him and see what he can do

Well...I am indeed playing Al Lewis in the September PCPH production of Neil Simon's THE SUNSHINE BOYS.

The rest of the cast is not exactly who I expected, and I am not sure about the guy playing Willie.....I shall know more after the read thru on Thursday.

Tonight we rehearsed and rehearsed and rehearsed the Abduction Ballet from THE FANTASTICKS.....and I am very sore....even if they asked, I doubt that I could die again.

Just found out I am reviewing a documentary about Paul Bowles.  I had no idea Isherwood named Sally after him.

Congratulations on getting Al Lewis, DR JRand! You should have a blast doing this part. I hope your compatriot Willie can learn lines well and give you good back and forth responses.

Sandra,

I had a Cherry Coke float today...

With what kind of ice cream? I usually use mint chocolate chip.

And my mom likes Diet Pepsi with lime. I just can't get her to change over to the Light Side.
