Yes, I did, Laura.

I still haven't found a funnel and yes, I still have Nicky - at least for now.

Now, normally I would think that elmore and Laura were gone (and I was alone), but those green lights show they are still with me.

But I am apparently wrong, because elmore and Laura have turned into George!  How did they do that?

I'm not really in a social mood tonight, but i've been dropping on to check out what's happening. Or not happening.

Do we know where Jane has gone on her trip?  Did Keith also go?  Did Sherlock go along?

I'm off, too.  I'm not going to rehearsals, but I'm going to see Capital Playhouse's production of The Secret Garden.  I love this show and can't wait to see it.

Until later!

I spent several hours last night exploring solo lawyer websites.   I had to remember all the benefits of being on my own after doing my taxes and realizing how much less I make now than I did a few years ago.   The upside is freedom and happiness.  There is no price I can put on that.  I read about others doing the same thing I do and after a while I was excited about it again.

Today Edith and I spent a lot of time talking about marketing, cost cutting, fees etc.   We're going to make some changes.  It's going to be great

Other than that...I'm way behind on my writing at the office, so I'm going to just be in the office and write the next couple days

AND the Iowa Piano Competition is starting tomorrow.  The solo round is tomorrow.  It's free to go in and listen and the theater is next door to my office building, so I may stop over and watch a few.  Friday night they perform with string trios and Saturday night with the symphony

I had  lunch with a friend today.  She was just appointed to the Historic Preservation Commission and is volunteering at the museum.   She's in either 4 or 5 different book clubs!   I told her I'd love to be in a book club, so she's going to invite me to join one of them.  Cool

I did a brief mile and a half jog and the minute I got back I had a severe allergy attack - I've taken an Alavert, which I hope averts the allergy.
