These women were strange for more reasons than that.
Is there mail delivery on Monday?
And a happy haineshisway.com birthday to babyfatso, whomever he/she is.
Venus cannot be IN Uranus -
It's fun on some other chat boards that people who saw Legally Blonde and predicted that it would be a flop are now trying to reconcile the reviews to their original comments. Why not just say it wasnt to their tastes and that's that?
I'm up, I'm up. Where in tarnation IS everyone? You'd think it was a Saturday morning or something.
I'm in school - hooboy, am I in school... a masters program AND finishing the BA... next Fall is the nearest likely trip to NYC
Have a good one. I'm working concessions today for City of Olympia Arts and Events Ethnic Celebration (http://www.washingtoncenter.org/calendar/calendar_detail.asp?event_id=859). It started at 10:00 am, but is going on all day. Sounds like a good time will be had by all!
Not in California, so I'm told.
BTW, since our discussion about clutter the other day, every time I turn around someone else is telling how they're trying to get rid of clutter. HHW has started the planets thinking about CLUTTER!
(Moral #2: Owners of old houses need extensive inventory of all sorts of odds and ends, because the new parts NEVER fit right.)
I have almost a whole house inside my 100 year old house---remnants of all the old houses that have been torn down around me. I couldn't bear to think of them in a landfill. I should start my own ebay store...
TCB - How are you finding the audience's reactions to the added aspects of the play, dealing with the personal aspects of Anne Frank, that were not part of the original play? Any audible murmurs in the audience about the (so to speak) frankness of these issues?
TCB-CONGRATULATIONS!
I certainly feel like babyfatso in my dress. Rehearsal was dismal, one more this afternoon and then the show this evening.
If nothing else...it will be OVER!
I planted two passionvines today. Spring is here!
Good for you, EDI! I hate to see these things go into landfills--I hate to see much of anything go into landfills. And old-house owners really do need this stuff. I am so glad there's eBay.
I see everyone, don't think I don't see everyone.
Lines we wish we'd have said (sometimes brain's don't work fast enough - I came up with this line about a half-hour ago as I was telling Cason about the seminar).
At our lunch table was Mr. Seidelman. They were bringing the sandwiches out and offered him a chicken salad sandwich. He said in a certain tone, "Do you have something else? I'm a VEGETARIAN." If only I'd been quick enough, I would have replied, "Oh, Arthur, you've eaten more meat than anyone in this room." I'm sure some here will get the humor.
DR Joes---Rendezbous Ribs and/or The Commissary---get thee to a taxicab and get some 'Q!
I planted two passionvines today. Spring is here!
"Oh, Arthur, you've eaten more meat than anyone in this room."
Nope, check arrived and your package is here and awaiting the rest of the Brain signatures.
I don't know - the character that Penny Peyser plays is someone who lost their parents in a concentration camp - doesn't sound like a laugh riot, but then you never know.
My internet is being annoying!!! It keeps freezing and disconnecting.
I must have 20 solid core doors at the house. You just can't buy doors like that at Home Deopt---they're all PLASTIC!
I can't wait until it warms up enough for our snakes to start visiting us.
Yes, but Mr Monte Hanson modeled for the Athletic Model Guild....he has you there, MR BK.
It's over....we were a hit. We raised $19,000 for our kickoff - our goal was $15,000 - so we are well on our way.
Only one problem.....I must have used Rita Marlowe's Stay-Put lipstick because I look like I have been drinking cherry Kool-Aid. I shall try some more Sea Breeze.
Cilla and anyone else who's interested - Maybe I've had a brain fart and it's been posted here before, but just in case no one posted it, here's a Playbill article about the experience Cilla is going to have being in the "onstage seats" at Spring Awakening.

Twenty solid-core doors!! I'd be in Heaven!
I think I have 17 of them....
CILLALIZ, you have a large old house?
Yes, It was built in 1938. I've posted photos in the past, I don't have any good ones in this computer
That was a nice era. Homes were quite well-built. I do love old houses.
Do you have a ghost?
No, no ghost. At least none that I've met in the past year.
I use the Londa Tarot in my readings for others. I have several regular clients.
I do a bit of palmistry, but am not proficient. I also do past life readings, which are always interesting - though I have never met anyone famous! ;D

I have had some very bad readings as well. One woman kept telling me about my children and my husband. Having neither, I just smiled and realized I'd kissed that money good bye.
Asspects of Uranus - that's the name of my new something or other
So happy for your success, DR TCB. How long does the show run? (Have you told us already? If so, I apologize for forgetting and having to ask again.)
Thank you, Matt. I don't believe I have mentioned it before, but the show closes March 4.
