Key lime pie is in the oven, but it's going to be greener than it should be.  The recipe calls for 1-2 drops of green food coloring (optional).  I had a little mishap and ended up with about 1/4 teaspoon, so it looks more like a grasshopper pie than key lime  :P

Time to finish getting dinner on the table.

Roast chicken.

Tortellini with pesto.

Heirloom tomatoes with marinated mozzarella.

Oh, Fletcher is quite capable of taking what he wants from the table when we aren't looking.

Plain dissonant on a steel drum but soggy in Spain, that's what Henry Higgins says, and he knows phonetics!

Don't know why
I can't keep my armpits dry
Muggy weather
Since I'm wearing chaps made of pleather
It's humid all the time.

I find the chaps too hot and just stick with the harness.

DH Richard and I just watched, on TV, the WEBN fireworks from the Cincinnati riverfront.  Our DS Rob, as far as we know, was there with a bunch of his UC friends.  He thinks it's very fuddy-duddy that we prefer to watch from the comfort of our family room.

if you didn't watch tonight's show, don't read yet.

BIG BROTHER>>>>NOT REALLY SPOILERS JUST DISCUSSION

Ok, maybe I feel a little sorry for Janelle because she is being SOOO played, by Will, but how could she not think she is being played?   I am cheering for Will now.  He really has orchestrated everything without winning a competition, that takes talent

I think that she is being played by will. But i was really glad to see she is not as clueless as she has come across.  Her diary room sessions near the end of tonight's show (where she said that CT lies and that she does not really trust them) made me realize that she is playing will a  bit too. She is acting a bit dumb.

Oh and as for THE CLOSER.

I am so glad that they are finally starting the season here in Canada (i don't get tnt). I think the first episode is a week from monday. Yeah!

I'm getting a bit worried though about NIP/TUCK. It is not in the listings yet and the new season is starting. :(

Oh well, I just checked the ctv.ca website (the channel that airs nip/tuck here). It says that they will be airing the fourth season, but no premiere date has been set. I suppose that is better than nothing.

Oh and i am so glad that my fox station will be airing the new CW shows. So i will get veronica mars (and my sis won't have to tape it for me anymore).

Btw, i think oct 3rd is the premiere date.

They do poker runs here all the time - either by snowmobile or motorcycle, you go from place to place (usually bars) and pick up a card. Best hand in the end wins

They do the same also...
