I read some of the reviews of Legally Blonde - the show sounds wretched - just another assembly-line demographically correct musical.  Maybe it's good, but I doubt it.  Even the people who have enjoyed it are surprised by the reviews.

I've written a little over three pages today, and may write a bit more.  I'm now past page thirty with the fixed stuff, and should be to page forty in the next two days.

If you can get down to the pit and say hi to the Assistant MD/Conductor, Jason DeBord, please do!  He's one of my Lestat buddies.

I shall do that! :)    Are you in the works for playing the Broadway production??

I hope to be.  -I'll most likely be one of the official subs at least.  We'll see.

-Of course, I'll be on tour with Sweeney Todd, so...  -Which means I'll be in San Fran for a while. ;)

And now that "Oprah" is over... and now that I know "The Secret", I believe I'm gonna head out for a bit and go for a walk.  There's a 7-11 a few blocks away, and I'm gonna stock up on water and snacks.

There's more to do - I just ordered Brain!

No, sorry, I'm not serving brain tonight, we're having beef stew.

(Brain should be fried, right?)

Where did you have lunch?
Whom did you have lunch with?
What did you have for lunch?
And was dessert involved?

The Oasis in Downtown Oakland, next to the Law Library.

Bob, Sloan and Nivi, three of my co-workers.

I had Shrimp Bisque for soup; Grilled Mahi Mahi, Herbed Rice & Steamed vegetables for main course.   I later munched on a Snickers Bar and had a mild sugar rush.

Ah, yes "DeBord"....isn't that the surname Lizzie changed "Borden" to after she was allowed to be on her own?

I had considered seeing "Legally Blond"...but the tickets were pricier than usual...and a feeling that I might not enjoy it preempted my clicking on "Buy" when I was ticket-searching.

I've been to the web site and watched selections from a bunch of numbers...and am totally underwhelmed.

But then...I'm still haunted by the "Lestat" debacle.

I DO plan on seeing "Sweeney Todd" this summer when it opens at the ACT.

DR RLP. I'm seeing Legally Blonde because I'm still kicking myself for not seeing Lestat when it was here.  Whether it's good or bad, it's new and at least I can say I've seen it.  Hell, I even went as far as to see Lennon and The Mambo Kings.  I did enjoy the latter.  However, the other was just a mess.

I'm really glad I did these three pages today - it was rewriting what was the nadir of the earlier version, and it's much better now.

Well....don't fail to weigh in on "Legally Blond"....if you really, really like it, I might try finding a ticket.

Criminal case in Oz "The Framed Dingo" was hard to avoid in the media frenzy.

Some DR's would be more interested in the crimes of "Chopper Read" or more probably,  Eric Bana.

I remember reading about that case.. An gal from Australia and I were just talking about that we were talking about people who murdered children.

Did you share with a co-worker?

Did you do the "manly chest hair rip-out"?

DR DakotaCelt - Maybe I misread your post, but did you say you were going to see a production of Follies sometime soon?

Yes, I am, next week. DBF is taking me for Valentines even though the show does not open until next weekend. He knows I really like Sondhiem
