OH!

And while checking out some things on Amazon, I noticed that they're taking pre-orders for the "Six Feet Under: The Complete Season" box set.  -It's due out in November. -I think I just found the Christmas gift to myself... and most likely someone else too!  *And the whole set is priced at just under $200.  Not bad at all.  Glad I "waited" to buy them!  ;)

*Since I've never pre-ordered anything from Amazon... Am I right to assume that they don't charge your card until the item(s) are shipped?

My memory is that all of it was done in front of an audience (the show your talking about was taped in Orem at their then brand-new studio - at least it was if Lorne Greene was one of the guests - if not, it was the KTLA studios in Hollywood).  All the musical stuff was prerecorded.

It was with Cindy Williams and Paul Lynde

Ah, Golden West is KTLA.

Edisaurus, I've passed your hello on to Grant.  I think I may have one copy of the two disc Nudie left.  Let me check before you place an order should you want to place an order.  They also show up on eBay from time to time, but you really have to make sure the seller knows in advance that it's two discs (one DVD, one CD).

I was very pleased with the reading, about which more later.  There were only a handful of things that I thought needed tweaking and I noted them in my script.  The one thing that was very clear is that the piece has a firmer structure and there is much more clarity now.  The songs seem to fit right in nicely.  I thought the actors did well.

Dear BK -- I'm glad your reading went well, and that the Brain is feeling solid, together, and working smoothly.  Am I remembering correctly that you told DP Kerry and I that the opening night is Dec. 4th ?  At least I think that is what I remember?

and speaking of KTLA ....  I think my grandfather and I used to watch Dick Laine ("leatherbritches") host the wrestling matches on very early TV.

Well, certainly if you've read Kritzer Time you'll remember that Benjamin watched Dick Lane (Whoa, Nellie!) and wrestling ALL the time.

The Brain opens on my birthday - December 8th.

I'm doing the Wussburger thing (and admitting to it ::) ) because I MUST get to work early!  I'm leaving work early (3:00 PM) to go to Seattle to see the national tour of Wicked!!  I can't wait!!  I finally get to see it. ;D But I must.  I also have to drive very carefully because I'll be driving some co-workers.  We're also going to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner.  I've never been.  I hear it's pretty good. :)

And I also have to get gas at lunch time so that we can just leave when we all assemble at my car.  Good night, BK (and any guests).
