Does any know if "Dames at Sea" with Ann-Margaret and Ann Miller has ever been released on DVD?

It hasn't been officially released, but, it is available.

Last night was a very uncomfortable night, pain-wise.  I actually ended up taking a third pill last night.  After that, I slept very well, but with very strange and elaborate dreams.

Sorry to hear that, TCB. Vibes for better sleep and vibes to td and all in need.

With Elmore's tale and Jennifer's grogginess and my just not being able to sleep long enough, it sounds like weird vibes were drifting everywhere.

Any hints as to where? Ebay, which I haven't checked in ages? It's not on Amazon.

I've listened to the complete Chandos recording of DON GIOVANNI in English, orchestrated 20 bars of a Gershwin Medley for Ron Raines, made my bed, tidied up, and I'm ready to go out for some exercise. I have to walk to the pharmacy but I may stop in the Juilliard book store to browse for a bit.

Today is my friend Chris' birthday and he's off to Maryland to see his family, so I guess we won't se the Facebook movie this weekend. If he hasn't seen it, perhaps next weekend I can take him for his birthday.

I really want to see Clint Eastwood's new movie, HEREAFTER.  It is the first film that I have really looked forward to seeing in a theater.  So, it opens yesterday, nationwide, but it is not playing in a single Tacoma theater.  I have to drive to Puyallup if I want to see the film.

Me bad!  HEREAFTER is in limited release this week, nationwide next Friday.  But Puyallup before Tacoma?

Re:  PAINT YOUR WAGON.  I have very fond memories of a number of films that a lot of people hate (or at least dislike) simply because I remember my eldest sister taking me to the theater to see them.   I still can remember seeing things like SCROOGE with her, especially when we lived in Seattle.  I still remember coming out of the theater in downtown Seattle where we saw SCROOGE and finding that there had been a huge snowstorm while we were watching the movie and the entire city was coated in several inches of snow.

I'm up - got a really good night's sleep and shall soon get to work making CDRs, organizing music, and writing a blurb.  Actually, I think I'll start with the blurb right this very minute.

Richard and I took a 34-minute walk around the neighborhood, after which I visited with Rosemary across the street.  She and her husband found a female Yorkie whose owner they're trying to track down - so far, no luck.

I've had my walk and, since I've returned with prescriptions, storage boxes, and groceries, I've cooked chicken cutlets for the week, washed my salad greens, put away the other groceries, opened today's mail, and now I'm going to pull more books for Ohio.

Tomorrow morning, I will do the laundry and walk back down to the market for the celery and onions I forgot to purchase today.

I've been spending lots of time in the guest room and I have to say it's really a soothing room.  Mostly because of the nice view and the warm sunshine (east and south exposures).   I've decided that as few guests as I have, and the fact that when I do, they usually only spend one night, I'm going to do a major change.   I'm going to get rid of the bed (the mattress is almost brand new - hopefully I can find someone who wants it) tear out the carpet, take off the wall paper, paint, get an area rug and a sleeper sofa, put my stereo and my old recliner in there and make it a music room/den. No TV.  It's the warmest room in the house.  The woodwork is pink, so that's going to have to be painted and none of it can be done until the cat is healed and I can let him out of there, but I really think I'm going to like it.   I won't have a "real" guest room, but I will have a sleeper sofa in there. That should be good enough

And if all I have to buy is the paint, a rug and a sleeper sofa - (or futon, depending on what I find) - it will be relatively inexpensive.  All the furniture stores have had tons and tons of sales....think I'll start looking

DR Cillaliz - I spend a lot of time in the room on the southeast corner of our house, too.  It was Rob's bedroom until his freshman year of high school, when he moved upstairs.  I claimed this room as mine and moved my closet and dresser out of our bedroom, making it much more restful for DH Richard when I had to get ready for work (summers, alternate Saturdays, and everyday after he retired) and giving us both more closet space.  The rest of the room is what he calls my "haven" - easy chair/footstool, desk, bookshelves, TV, craft stuff, etc.
