As for "Grease..." - again...
-Like DR MattH and others, I just don't see "it" in Ashley A. What I do see is desperation. Major desperation. I see it all the time, unfortunately. These actors and actresses get stuck in a mode where they just so want to get a job, that they start confusing their "want" with practice and preparation. And they hope beyond hope that the people behind the table will see how much they want the job, that they will give them the job. Alas, even though there is the occasional fluke, just telling and showing the "judges" how much you want to work for them is not what is going to get you the job. You gotta show up!
Sadly, with David Ian - and/or the producers of the show - showing up on her doorstep and asking her to come back on the show, they just got her hopes up again, and they validated her "want". And there's just no way that she will ever be Sandy once the show goes into rehearsals.
*Although, now we know why they spent so much time with Matt and Ashley during the taped shows.
**And, again, I'm glad the other "losers" were spared the spotlight and air time.
