Well, you've read the notes, the notes were a go go, and now it is time for you to post until the go-go cows come home.

I'm listening to the samples of the WSMA's (aka Brent Barrett) brand new Christmas CD!  This will definitely be worth getting!

I'll listen to the sample of "Billion Dollar Brain" and "The Final Option" after that.

I've now listened to all the samples for the new releases.  I really enjoyed the movie soundtrack clips.  Can't wait for them!

The Brain score is brilliant - anyone who likes Richard Rodney Bennett should have it.  He's written some of my all-time favorite film scores.

Wednesday morning greetings!  Up early today to get some things done before lunching with the volunteer administrators.  This time tomorrow morning, Richard and I will be arriving at Dayton International Airport for our flight to NYC!

I just made my first Kritzerland.com order (through the website, that is...)

Aside from Mr Barrett's and Mr Dylan's audio Christmas offerings, I don't know of any other new ones this year.

Last night I watched a William Castle film on TCM I had never seen before--MR SARDONICUS.  I remember seeing a full page pic of the villain's face in FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND and being totally freaked out.  I had no idea that this man's troubles all stemmed from his inability to just relax and chill.

Bruce, please give the lovely and talented Mr. Jason Graae and big old wet smooch (or at least a very hearty masculine hug) from me!

Good Morning!

Another beautiful day here. It was plenty cool this morning, but it's going to warm into the 70s once again, and the sky is so deep blue without a single cloud to mar that gorgeous color. A heavenly fall day!

My work project today is the first season of THE GUARDIAN with Simon Baker in his first hit series star leading role. I've never seen a minute of this show, but I find him so appealing in THE MENTALIST (and in the films I've seen him in) that I requested getting this TV box set to review.

There are 22 episodes, so it'll take me three days to get through it all. I'll begin on it later this morning.

Yes, I already have WIlliam Castle's 13 GHOSTS and STRAIT-JACKET on single DVD releases, so I wasn't interested in springing for that box set and rebuying those titles.

I see that ABC has picked up CASTLE for the rest of the season (its initial order was just for 13 episodes). I'm delighted by that news. It's quickly turned into one of my favorite shows.

Good morning, all! I have very little on today's agenda, and that's fine with me. At some point I need to run down to the theatre and deal with the music intro to the finale. Otherwise, it's MOST HAPPY FELLA and Kern's OH, BOY! today.

I'll have NCIS: LA to watch while I eat lunch today, and I still haven't gotten to last Friday's MONK or PSYCH. Doesn't look like I'll get to either of them anytime soon.

My Fed Ex bill for the 14 cartons landed today; it cost me $232 to send them to Ohio, around $26.57/carton. Not bad.
