Well, you've read the notes, the notes had bliss, and now it is time for you to post until the blissful cows come home.  They're currently listening to their favorite classical composer, MOOtzart.

And I really should start to head in since the traffic is bound to be even traffic-ier due to the rain.

Good morning, all!

I slept late. I have a lunchon and theatre date at 1pm, so I will putter around here before heading to the East Side to meet Bruce Pomahac at 1 for lunch. After that, we will be seeing the 3pm performance of MAN WITH A LOAD OF MISCHIEF at the York. I'm a big fan of the show, and I hope this production is good.

I have things to put away, as well as some beginning work on the DEAREST ENEMY liner notes to deal with before I go.

Late last night I watched, and fell asleep to it in the middle of it, ENEMY MINE which I'd never seen.  Will finish that up tonight.

About three years ago I read every James Bond book in the order written, which was wonderful.  Several months later I watched every Bond movie in the order filmed, also very gratifying, and at that time it was my first viewing for several of them.  There are still about a thousand commentaries and such goodies awaiting my return, and I'd really like to do it all again, both the reading and the watching, but that will have to wait at least a couple of months.  My idea for it next time is to once again read the books in chronological order, but then watch the related film(s) immediately following...then go on to the next book, etc.

TOD:   Oy!  Where to begin?

I know!  I'll begin in 1985-86 when I lived near Chicago for a year and a half and had my life transformed by the discovery of the Chicago hot dog.  That style will forever be number one for me.

Another favorite is a Nathan's chili dog.

So many great variations, though.  I'll probably add to this later.

God, do I hate Photobucket! Let's see how large this photo is!

We're on break at the Helix, and I'm having a fantastic Brunch Bar and this carbonated orange drink very much like an Orangina.

TOD: I like Chicago dogs, but they're kinda fussy for my tastes. A good New York dog with the onions and some mustard is just fine.

I'm sure the first hot dog that I ever had was made by Mom and was served back from before I can remember much of anything. I don't eat them too often these days, but still enjoy a corn dog every now and then.

Nice photo DR ELMORE - it was worth all of YOUR trouble.

I love MAN WITH A LOAD OF MISCHIEF.  I bought the LP for fifty cents at a drug store many decades ago.  I have listened to it many times since then, although I took my time unwrapping it - it was probably a couple of months later.

I still haven't gotten rid of that TEXT ENHANCE thing....and it is making FIREFOX run very fast and using up a lot of space.  I used DR BEN's solution and thought it worked, but it instead that just wiped out all of my password cookies so that I have to sign in on many sites every day.

The program is disguised very well on my system and not under any name I can indentify.....most frustrating.
