God, do I hate Photobucket! Let's see how large this photo is!

We're on break at the Helix, and I'm having a fantastic Brunch Bar and this carbonated orange drink very much like an Orangina.

Great pic!

The good news is that Rev. Samuel Parris was back at rehearsal last night so that I get to be who I am.....for now, for always, I hope.

Better news is that it is always VERY NICE when some idiot in the cast calls you something dumb - that usually within a page or two THEY get called on something even dumber.

HA HA!

TOD:

When my mother asked him what he wanted, he looked at her intensely and then spat out "Hooley-Dooleys".  From that day to the present, my mother and I refer to hot dogs as "hooley-dooleys".

Sweet story DR Ron.

I'm up, I'm up.  Yesterday was over 100 degrees.  Looks like today will be the same.

Cool and drizzly here today.  And it looks like DR JOSE will have some heavy rain for his first rehearsal day.

It looks like the paper from hell is just about finished. 31 pages of fun. I've had one friend read through it and made some changes, punched up the ending. Now, I'm waiting to hear from my sister, who has been a great help with these papers. (She was in college for a couple of decades as a student, so she knows her way around academia, even if she never quite finished her doctorate.)

And now I can breathe for a day or two.

Good morning - at the Nissan dealer having my air conditioning on my car looked at again.  Of course, it decides to stop working when we finally have hot temperatures.  Hopefully, they can get it done and I can be on my way.

Here's to a Loverly Tuesday for Everyone!

Laters...

DITTO!

I would love to do MY FAIR LADY again.  I think I could be a great Henry Higgins, but I also wouldn't mind playing Pickering again.

T.O.D.

When I was a wee lad, the Snack Bar on the top floor of our Sears Store had the very best hot dogs.  Cooked to order on those roller machines and topped with mustard, relish, and those strange reconstituted onions.  A minor slice of Heaven!

When I moved to New Jersey, I discoved Nathan's Hot Dogs.  And to this day, I have trouble walking or driving past a Nathan's without stopping for a chili dog.

Today I find great comfort in eating a Costco Hot Dog at the end of each visit.  Mustard, relish, and sauerkraut.

Nathan's are the best chili dogs I've ever had.  Not only are their hot dogs of great quality, but the chili is ideal.  Very tasty, the right consistency, etc.  Love it piled with raw onions, but enjoy it without, too.

I love the Costco hot dogs (and Polish dogs) but I'm not a fan of sauerkraut...my mom used to make it and the smell of it always made me gag. :P

Keith's bad knee has gone out again, so much so that he had to stop his workout at the gym today.  Yet he is working hard in the yard.

I need to go do a couple of errands for him & then stop at the hospital to have blood taken for routine work.

Current Oakland temperature is Fahrenheit 96 degrees.

That's 10 degrees hotter than was forecast.

This started affecting us on Sunday...and it was pretty warm yesterday.  Today is the hottest day that is expected.

A major cool-down is expected to start tonight/tomorrow.

It's more than 90 minutes later...temp is 95 degrees.

Thank goodness for an air-conditioned office.

Gonna swelter in the early evening at home, though.

Temps are gonna drop dramatically overnight.
