Well, you've read the notes, the notes had the onset of on set, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently on set, filming a MOOvie.

Morning.   :)

4:46 am here.  I feel cold.  Should get up at this time more often.

Off to work and 90's in the valley.   Done with summer, go away.

Not much thinking going on here, it's too early.
Off to work.

Watching the debate tonight.

And then sleep, sleep, sleep.

Maybe popcorn with the debate.  8)

Good morning, all.

Great to have you back, Sam.

Long day ahead of me. Doctor's appointment this afternoon, interview for a freelance story, a holiday wine tasting, dinner out. Oh, yeah, and work, plus work on the personal business. I'm already tired thinking about it and I just woke up.

Good morning, all!  I could not get to sleep last night, so I ended up sleeping in an hour longer than I liked.

Yesterday afternoon, the two charges for $97+ that were made last Tuesday were refunded to my account, so that takes care of two thefts. Before I head down to Toyland, I will stop at the bank to file claims against the two charges on my debit card that are now posted to my account. God knows how long it will take to see that $120+ returned.

On the good news front, the date for the Big Meeting with the Man From Philadelphia and my colleagues has been set, all of the basic wrk for ROBERTA is in the bag, and my new stove works mighty fine. I hope the new fridge is as successful.

DR ChasSmith, when do you fly to Los Angeles?

TOD: The list is nearly endless.

A few that come to my foggy brain this morning (I initially typed "bran," and no, my bran isn't foggy):

Think outside the box

Drink the Kool-Aid

Let's strategize ...

Low-hanging fruit

Any attempt to verbalize an emoticon. For example, saying, "Colon, close parens."  :)

TOD

This.

Yes, This.

Starting a post with "This." as its own paragraph instead of "Same here" or "I agree" or "I disagree" or any number of more civilized and conversational lead-ins to your own contribution to a thread.  I never saw it in my life till just the past few months.  Now it's a "thing" and I wonder how/where it started.

Also, the now ubiquitous "+1".  Where does this crap come from?  I'm going to guess it all starts on Facebook.  Unless proven otherwise, Facebook shall take the blame.  In fact, it can have the blame for everything I don't like, saving time and energy and speculation.

The fact that people are so quick to adopt the latest insipid expression is something that annoys the living This+1 out of me , satisfying two TODs in the process.

TOD, Part the Second

There are so many business-speak things, you could write a book, so I'll give honorable mention to this one which I think has reigned supreme for at least a decade:

At the end of the day...
