I spoke to Geri about 3 hours ago over the Con Ed mess, but she never got back to me. I hope everythng has been resolved.

Today I got a letter about my musician's pension: it will kick in on the first week of January. I'll be making a nice sum monthly between it and social security.

Yes, you got to keep the box you packed. I didn't know until afterward what flavor I had worked on. They also gave you a large assorted box, some hard candies, peppermints and a bunch of other stuff that I don't need in my house.

They were very generous.

Yes, and Sunday - the day the guest is leaving. I'm actually leaving tomorrow and not coming back until Sunday night do to a bridge closure. I work on the Peninsula and the bridge that I take from the east bay is closed this weekend and next, so I'm staying with my mom so I don't have to drive out of my way all weekend to cross the bridge. Can't say the timing could be better

I guess rain sounds pleasing to some. But if you had heavy rain all day. And it was so dreary out you'd be sick of it pretty quick.

When I was young I loved to play in it and enjoyed days on end of rain, but then I lived in sunny So California. It didn't take many summers on the East Coast to understand how you feel.
