Thanks, George, for the Wicked update. I remember Reva on Guiding Light; that was when I was beginning to tune the show out, but still I remember her as being fun to watch.

Also, while I don't like the cast album, I would like to see Wicked someday. I think the visuals and the story would make up for a lot.

The visuals absolutely do make up for a lot...especially since the CD doesn't reveal spoilers. :)

Saturday great things everyone.

It was raining slightly this morning, so very very welcome, the cooler weather.

Went to my 7am meeting, breakfast with the gang, the bookstore, and a short road trip to take some pictures.   I am happy.  YEA WEATHER.

Off to the market to buy some salmon, potatoes, and salad.   To stay in tonight and enjoy the open windows with cool air.

And maybe watch a couple episodes of Jesse Stone.

Best news out of the national conference I just attended in Indianapolis:  In 2 years the national conference will be in Portland, Oregon!  I'm gonna start planning our fly/drive PNW vacation as soon as we get back from England!

Here is 5/6 of the Dayton delegation to the grant writers' national conference.  The sixth, one of my roommates, was up front introducing speakers.

Topic of the Day:

Favorite pasta dish:  my homemade lasagna.  I just take whatever recipe is on the box of noodles and double everything except the noodles.

Otherwise, I really like cheese-filled ravioli or tortellini with a red sauce...meat or not.  Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken can be very good.

Well, I must be going.  I want to make up a couple of hours at work and later this afternoon, I'm ushering for an annual fund raiser for the Olympia Union Gospel Mission’s No-Fee Dental Clinic.  This was a last-minute call for ushers.  Since I had no specific plans for tonight, I'll help out.

Be back later.

I made recordings of the three new songs and those have been sent to the musical director so he can do the piano tracks and lead sheets.
