OK - for those without a CLEW - what is the connection between DR TCB and DRs Ann & Jed?   :)

They are my son and my daughter......... ah, don't ask.

DR Jose,

Actually, DR Jed and Ann's is not the first HHW wedding...seems you have forgotten that about 3 or 4 years ago DR Swishysarah, or somebody like that, matched you and I up and got us married off...but IIRC you cheated on me before the ceremony even commenced. We never consumated the marriage and I had the whole thing annuled.

I think that is when the term 'Fickle Filipino" was coined.

Don't Noel and Joy count as the first HHW wedding?  Or, at least, the first HHW wedding OCR album.

Yes, quite the "production"...with lots of advertising of the CD of same.

They did not "meet" via HainesHisWay.com, though.  The wedding was in planning stages (score being written) when Noel was first posting, AIR (as I recall, in internet lingo).

Nor did Jed and Ann meet here at HHW.

This Afternoon is the Grand Opening for The Rehoboth Beach Farmer's Market. I'll pick up Woody at 4:30 and we shall go Famer shopping - with luck I'll find some fresh local Scrapple! (Or some local Amish baked goods!)

On a local note (a sign of the times), there is a health alert not to eat more than one portion/week of fish caught in any Delaware waters (coastal, inland, or fresh) - unless your you're (OZ might be watching) pregnant, or the fish were caught in a few of our local rivers, then the limit is one portion/month!

Woody has yet to master fish cookery.

der Brucer

It seems a rather strange reason to limit the intake of fish for all of the citizens of Delaware; just because Woody can't figure out how to cook it.

Otherwise, the train got in a few minutes early... There was an A Train "waiting" for me when I got the subway platform.  And there was a wonderful CD from Down Under in my mailbox... As well as a check for a gig I did a few weeks ago - and had forgot about.  :)  -So, I've also been to the bank already too.

Don't they usually leave it on the nightstand?

The young plumber is here. The bad news is that the new vanity that has been on the patio for two months won't fit.

I wonder if I should startle some shrimp, or thrill some pork chops.

Well, we're back from the Farmer's Market, and at $19.00/lb, I think I'll worship some back-fin crab meat!

(And Woody went back to Super G and bought me a grapefruit, so I can enjoy my bottle of local honey.)

The market was a total bust - no baked goods, no meat products, no jams and jellys or Apple Butter, and damn little produce!

TOD

My first time in London, I went to see NO SEX PLEASE WE'RE BRITISH.  By that time, the show had probably been running for, at least, 80 years - an probably with the same cast.  My friend and I went to a Saturday matinee, and the house was less than half full.

The cast seemed to be simply going through their paces, saying their lines without feeling, and then holding for the laughs that weren't coming.  The less the audience laughed, the more annoyed the cast became.  At one point, one of the actresses stopped center stage, turned out front, and screamed the punchline at us like we were morons.  We only stayed for the second act, because it was obvious that this was a rare hate/hate relationship..  When we got to the curtain call (in almost total silence) the cast moved rapidly to their places, never bowed, and left the stage in a huff.  Very bizarre!

Well the loads of Mercury doesn't help, either.

TOD (movie)

I know I am in the minority, but I never liked IT'S A MAD, MAD, MAD, MAD WORLD, even when I originally saw it in Cinerama.  It all seemed forced, and rather lame.  I have tried watching the movie since, but I don't enjoy it any more than I did the first time.

The bad news is that the new vanity that has been on the patio for two months won't fit.

which will precipitate:

A. The purchase of a new Vanity (which will clash with the tub and commode requiring their replacement also)

B. The enlarging of the bathroom - which will require enlarging the bedroom as well to keep the roof line even.

C. Both of the above

Back from a long but fun Party Animals rehearsal.  I'm relaxing now, then must put some gas in my car, then be on my way to this evening's performance.  I gave the author and director a suggestion about how to set the audience up at the top of the show so that they're not so confused by who my character is and what he's doing.  I hope they take the advice.

Oh, standing me up in NY was a whole other situation DR Jose.

The two of us were married before ever meeting in person. Swishysarah officiated, I think. Or maybe BK did. I forget.

Marriage by proxy...that's legal, isn't it? ::)

Today, while I was getting a copy of A THOUSAND SPLENDID SUNS I was delighted to discover, and purchase, THE YIDDISH POLICEMEN’S UNION by Michael Chabon.  Amazon is already selling first editions of this for $117.00.

Darn, first I have to read my next SAVING FISH FROM DROWNING by Amy Tan for my book discussion meeting.

Were they dating when they first started posting here, or was it something that bloomed "while" they were actively posting here?
