Oh and I have to tell you that I put a call into the local Museum of
Science and Industry to ask if I could arrange to see my Mom's star.

I haven't gotten a return call but I'm hoping!

I've been watching AMERICA'S GOT TALENT, and it's soooo goddam noisy!  I had a good time watching it last year, but so far tonight, no cigar.

I'm off to rehearsal, but I'll need to stop home and program my DVR to record Kathy Griffin and "America's Got Talent."  I did enjoy that last year...somewhat. ;)

OMG! I have that EXACT set of bowls. I use the Red Bowl for Jello, the Yellow Bowl for big salads, the Green Bowl for smaller salads and the Blue Bowl for various and sundried things.

I think I have these somewhere...I know we had them when I was growingp up and I thought my mom gave them to me... but I have no idea where they would be hm....

I meant to tell DR CILLALIZ how much I like the feline mural in her bathroom. It's a wallpaper? It's quite cute.

It's a border, can't think of the company but it's in the Folk Art by David line

Thank God for Piers! He has the same low tolerance for incompetence that I do, and these kids are dreadful.  I thought Ms Osborne's blowup was totally assinine.  So far, the answer to AMERICA'S GOT TALENT is: ya sure?

DR Cillaliz - When you played Potemkin in Celebration, did you just sing all of the character's songs in your own octave, or did they transpose?

I've sung everything from first soprano to tenor  - in the tenor range.  I  really don't remember how I did it. Mostly it was in the low part of my range except for the high notes in Not My Problem...those were near the top of my range. It was a pretty bad production, to tell you the truth, but I had a blast with it, especially Love Song

I dreamed last night that I was late getting to preschool, so the next-door neighbor lent me his bicycle. After I got to preschool, I realized that I had somehow lost the bicycle somewhere along the way and didn't know where it was. I woke up and spent the rest of the night wondering how you could lose a bicycle while you're riding it and not even realize it.

I just watched it again. It's very short, and I did fine, but I just don't like the idea of having anything on You Tube....that's pretty funny really, I went to a meeting to save a building tonight and was just planning on being there to show support, well of course I ended up talking about how beautiful the building is and how it breaks my heart that the bank wants to tear it down to build a parking lot.....and of course there were cameras there from 3 local TV stations, so I'll probably be on tonight.

I looked and looked for a vanity for my bathroom. The inexpensive ones were never the right size--or I just disliked them. Once again, I ended up with a custom cabinet. Marvelous Matt, of course. It was a bit more expensive, but I REALLY LIKE IT!!! I've had to do many custom projects on this house because the house is from 1820 and things were a bit different then. But if you find good people with good rates it really isn't that much more expensive and you end up with something very nice. I haven't been sorry; I'd do it again. Then again, sometimes you just luck out and find a stock item you're happy with.

DR Laura, I hope my "can't always get" wasn't offensive to you. It was just the song that immediately popped in my head when I read your post.

Were they dating when they first started posting here, or was it something that bloomed "while" they were actively posting here?

They had been friends since they were little kids.  When Jed decided to move to Tacoma, Ann said he could stay with her, still just as friends.  Well, as time went by, romance found Andy Hardy.

I order several DVDs from Amazon as Best Buy only had one of the DVDs I wanted and I didn't need the instant gratification of buying just one. For my eclectic viewing for the next week or so I have purchased A Little Night Music, Fantastic Voyage, Season 2 of Mission Impossible and the restored version of Duck You Sucker. I have been waiting for the latter for the longest time and remembering when I lived in Montreal I saw the uncut version many times. It played at a small theater near my house (2 blocks away) and it played for almost three years!! I was tempted to buy some other DVDs but have but those on hold. Actually a Little Music is not slated for delivery for a couple of weeks.

A Fine Romance with Julie Andrews & Marcello Mastroanni, To Be Or Not To Be with Jack Benny and Our Sons with Julie Andrews and Anne Margret.

And I just saw that a Fine Romance is being released in FULL SCREEN! Was is original made for TV and then released to the theaters???
