Her very kind neighbors came after the storm on Thursday and cleared her drive and walkway with their snowblower but the town is still plowing the side streets ( where my mom lives) and there was 3 feet of ice loves and snow blocking the drive

When I was home alone I always appreciated neighbor who stopped by with their snow plows.

We had a fairly big circular driveway in our second Michigan home that was hilly.  The neighbors used a service that charged a flat fee for the season, paid up front, to plow when needed.  They were very reliable.   Depending on how much snow we had it was either a good rate or higher than if we paid individually as needed.  In the end we provably broke even on the deal.

There was the time in Massachusetts I briefly passed out while shoveling due to my fever.  Once I came to I finished the job ;D

They did such a marvelous job of recreating the Harry Potter world at Universal that when we watch the movies now we feel as if it's been filmed in a locale with which we're familiar, like seeing a movie shot on Long Island or Manhattan

Wrote five pages, two of which was material I added to an earlier section.  So, five more pages before I go to bed - I should be able to do that.

I've never had to shovel snow.  I no longer live in a very snowy area of the country.

I don't know what ice loves are, but they sound rather chilly.

I can't say I am crazy about the flavor of Sambucol, but I am sure I have cooked worse.

I didn’t know there was a choice.  Black elderberry was the only kind I saw.

Her father was one of the “big stars” of the Tacoma Little Theatre musicals of the 50’s and 60’s.

When I first met Tracy in 1983, I had no idea that she was Milt’s daughter.

Nor, when I met Tracy, I had any idea that her mother was one of my co-workers at the Welfare Office.
