I honestly don't get the joke about cats not coming when called. My cats weren't always good about coming when called, especially if they were outside playing. Most the time the cat I called came. Sleeping dogs didn't always come either-lol

I'd choose COME FROM AWAY, but don't you have a favorite?

We are meeting people one day and one of those people is pushing for us to go to the theater. I would rather spend more time visiting.

The guy pushing said Phantom, which we do not want to see again, or Mama Mia which we have never seen. I thought the others I listed worth asking about.

Years ago we saw Riverdance and we wouldn't mind seeing the dancers again.

If I was in London again, I'd probably want to see something that was uniquely British. Mamma Mia, The Book Of Mormon, Come From Away and Tina - The Tina Turner Musical are shows that either have been around a long time, or will be. I don't know Only Fools And Horses The Musical. I personally might be interested in that and Heartbeat Of Home-Riverdance (I loved the original Riverdance show).

Since i've been reading Kenneth Williams' diaries, the cats and I watched Carry On Abroad tonight. Very 70s London and lots of bawdy situations, double entendre, and mugging. I laughed a lot.

DR John G, I love Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte and Whatever Happened To Baby Jane? a lot, but I think Aunt Alice is a mess and Geraldine Page pretty lousy in it. I love Ruth Gordon.

Jan's funeral service today was wonderful. One of her sons, a Presbyterian minister, was able to give the homily (I don't think that's often allowed in Catholic churches) and he did a masterful job. The rest of the family also got up and spoke. It was very touching.

Thank you. It is possible we can't even get tickets for Heartbeat of Home. My suggestion was well received. I think he didn't know what it was and missed it.

Come From Away is a play & not a musical, correct? Is it a comedy?
