It's raining, or has rained last night, here in the East Bay.  I just want to go back to bed.  I wonder if they will miss me at A Christmas Carol auditions today?  I hired a pianist so I'm not playing.  I'm not vocal directing this year, just supervising and playing the show, do I really need to be there?  I'd be happy just to attend callbacks.  Seeing that this in an annual production, I say cast anyone that was good last year that wants to do the show this year and just deal with the holes in the cast where people aren't returning.

This attitude must be fixed... or not...

I coughed a bit during the last three minutes of the show last night.....UGH......in addition to my cough suppressant, today I also have a small container of honey.....which is said to help.....but which will play havoc with my blood sugar.....tonight's closing night performance MAY be most entertaining.

I just read a headline that said:

except when I looked closer it said:

Bailiffs to SEIZE Puppies to Recover Debt

I really had planned to sleep in today, but then found myself awake at 8:30, so... Then I remembered there was no 1 Train service this weekend... And since The Academy is off of the 157th Stop on the 1... Well, then I called DR elmore...

You're welcome, DR elmore.

I just got a phone call from DR Jose alerting me to MTA subway problems so I've sent emails to everyone about the changes. I will take a crosstown bus to the A and C trains and take it up to 155th and walk over.

That's a nice walk downhill from that stop. -And you pass by Trinity Church Cemetery too. -Which is the only remaining active cemetery in Manhattan.

And I should get out into it.

Or something like that.

But first, I guess I should eat something.

The photo is from RAGBRAI somewhere.  They only had one line of waffle makers at the church.  This afternoon another Lutheran church is having the Great Lutheran Soup Cook Off.   I'm thinking about going if I get my work done

They had about 10 kinds of syrup you could use.  I chose a different one for each quarter of the waffle.  Maple, Boysenberry, Pecan and Blackberry.  With whipped cream on top.  Yummy!!
