AND - I got an email from University of Santa Monica, informing me that I have, indeed, been accepted to their Masters program for the Fall. One weekend a month for two years, and I'll have the degree... I think my parents, may-they-rest-in-peace, would be content with my use of the gift they left.

And Congratulations to DR Penny0!! ;D

I like Laura and Robert as designers so far.....  Keith is okay...but ugh!  The rest are all in the middle for me right now....although the funny blond guy does some nice work as well.

Goldfinger, From Russia With Love, Dr. No.

Songs:  Goldfinger and Diamonds are Forever

I liked the George Lazenby movie, too.....but as DRELMORE said, once Connery left....  I lost interest as well.

I happened to tune into BB the other night. Dr. Will's speech was absolutely hilarious. Of course, if he really wanted to, he could just demand to be let out of the house at any given time, couldn't he?

Any houseguest can just walk out the door, but they can't go back in and I don't know what that does to their contractual obligations.

I read that BB is considered a soap opera and not a competition..that's why the producers can mess with it so much. Does anyone know if that's true?

MBarnum....I like Dr. Will.  I didn't used to, but I find his attitude a refreshing change from all the serious plotting.  He's playing the game, just not the same way.  His throw me in the briar patch seems to be working......

I can easily live without Jase

Back from a shortish morning walk...got to get my legs back under me after the torrid heat of the past week or so.

I walked on Monday and nearly perspired myself into a puddle the rest of the day.  The humidity was only 83%.  Normally, it's below 60%...so I probably overdid it a tad.

I, too, can live without Jase. He's blown his game, IMO.

I don't know...color me "bored with the doctor".  I find him all too transparent.

He truly isn't doing anything but talking trash...which is all he did the first time.  Bottom line:  He takes none of it seriously, whereas the rest seem to take it too seriously.  I suspect that's the charm most people admire.  Will is the center of his own universe.  Mike "Boogie" is his lackey (and I don't know what Ericka sees in Boogie...but then she was serious with "Robert" from her own season.  I think she suffers from low self-esteem, pesonally).

I say give the doctor the axe and let the splinters fly.

They need to do "something" to make the show more interesting.  Danielle better step up her game.

And if they introduce any new players into the mix, let them introduce "Ivette" from Season 6 -- I'd love to see the sparks fly with that.

Once again, in BK's honor, here's Nirvana with their hit "Plateau."

Nirvana
Plateau

Many a hand has scaled the grand old face of the plateau
Some belong to strangers and some to folks you know
Holy ghosts and talk show hosts are planted in the sand
To beautify the foothills and shake the many hands

There's nothing on the top but a bucket and a mop
And an illustrated book about birds
You see a lot up there but don't be scared
Who needs action when you got words

When you've finished with the mop then you can stop
And look at what you've done
The plateau's clean, no dirt to be seen
And the work it took was fun

There's nothing on the top but a bucket and a mop
And an illustrated book about birds
You see a lot up there but don't be scared
Who need action when you got words

Well the many hands began to scan around for the next  plateau
Some said it was in Greenland and some in Mexico
Others decided it was nowhere except for where they stood
But they were all just guesses, wouldn't help you if they could

I fear it's going to be Keith.

He's all over the internet for plagiarizing designs in his portfolio.

Adelphia goes down for about thirty seconds.  So, have to launch AOL.  AOL, having lost the signal for thirty seconds, cannot find the signal - EVER - not without restarting the computer.  It's unbelievable.  I am now going to get an inexpensive 40 gig mini drive, back up everything in my mail folders and then I am paying someone to transfer all my e-mail addresses into both Adelphia and gmail, and then I am, at long last, stopping the madness.

I don't know why, but I just found this record album to be most interesting.

From the look on her face, is it fascination or envy?

Hey did anybody who watches SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE see Heidi and benji last night? I knew they would be good, but they were really wonderful. I think another pair i would like to see is benji/allison. And i can't remember if we've seen travis/allison.  I'm guessing that ryan/ivan and natalie/donyelle will be the bottoms.

I was actually enjoying DR Will until he gave up so early on that competition...but I suppose that is part of his plan...I know I was certainly proud of Chicken George!

I disliked Jase when he was on during his previous season, but liked that he was being a bit more subdued...he was acting a bit childish last night, however.

All in all I am enjoying this season more then I thought I would, despite the fact that I don't care much for most of the contestants.

Re: big brother.

I like Will and want him to stay.  I don't like him as much this year, since he will surely battle my favorite player janelle. But i think he is hysterical. Hopefully tonight they will be able to show something very funny that happened on the feeds (all the houseguests were taking roles doing the last veto ceremony).

No YOUNGBLOOD today, DRMATTH, I fear it must be done again.  I am so sorry....that your good deed is turning into such a chore.

What's so infuriating is that it didn't reach you, but it also didn't come back to me. You'd think with two addresses, it would find its way SOMEWHERE!  Oy!

I finally watched Tuesday night's RESCUE ME. A funny episode and less scheming than usual, so I enjoyed it.
