DR Jose, that is so weird that Eric (Big Brother) is being talked about at all backstage.  Apparently he's been caught on the feeds quite a few times under the sheets.  I know i'd read that many people had unfortunately been subjected to seeing this.  I wonder if he forgot the cameras have night vision!

I still can't get used to the word "Gas" (Gasoline) when used for petrol. So many cars here now run on gas (LPG)  - very much an alternative to petrol.

I survived the corn festival! No pig wrasslin' this year, but still lots of corn.

I dropped mom off, visited with my cousin Molly (she was there rather then my ex-sister-in-law...my mistake) and my sister and bro-in-law. Sister Sue had made some beautiful bird houses and some framed artwork. Molly had some gorgeous cut class and Buddha artwork and crafty items that I really liked.

I am hoping for some nifty Christmas presents...after all I gave out many hints!  :D

Then I returned home and watched a Bollywood movie.....

...and that Bollywood movie was the classic 1976 mythological BAJRANGBALI, the story of the monkey god Hanuman (as played by Dara Singh) and his devotion to Lord Rama (played by Biswajeet). It is one of the stories from The Ramayan, althought this movie covered several of those stories.

If you have never seen a Bollywood mythological...well, they are the most bizarre things in the world...but so much fun!

Well, I got all logged in here and - BOOM - we lost our internet connection.  So I went and ate some ice cream and that solved the problem.  Isn't that something?

Just think of this the next time he pops up:

SAVE SOVIET JEWRY

(after all, he was born in Russia, educated in Berlin, worked in Paris and is definitely not a Gentile).

Funny, and not something I would think about.  I only notice when the guy is definitely not Jewish.

Did I say that! :o

DR Elmore - please give Charlotte a big GO BLUE hug and tell her that I hope she loves Ann Abor as much as I did when I was her age.  Remember, I'll go with you anytime to see her on stage!

BK-I just ordered the Bossa Nova CD from Amazon,

Am now listening to a wonderful CD- The Enchantment-Chick Corea and Bela Fleck. They do a cover of BRAZIL . Does anyone know of a vocal recording of the song Brazil?

Surely you jest, Mr. Brockman.  :)  One of the most covered songs of the 20th century, you can get vocal versions by everyone from The Andrews Sisters to Carmen Miranda to (more modern) Joao Gilberto to Gal Costa to Quarteto em Cy to.....

She was sitting in the box office at the Snapple Center, chatting up her show, when DH Richard and I went there to purchase tickets for The Fantasticks.  The ladies in front of us, who had just purchased seats for that night's Perfect Crime, were quite thrilled to have met the "star."

She probably didn't feel that way after she saw the show.
