Surprisingly there is a lot for me on tv tonight.

Besides being the premiere of SURVIVOR. There are also new episodes of LOST and CELEBRITY APPRENTICE.

And at 10pm there is ELI STONE (which i still have not watched from last week), and the new show LIPSTICK JUNGLE (which i will check out). Plus in Canada they are starting the series BIG LOVE (also tonight at 10pm).

Quote from JMK:

Quote
TCB, a mechanical is the per-song per-copy fee you pay to record someone else's material.  I did get an answer from Harry Fox (the company that handles it): 9.1 cents per song per copy (if the song is under 5 minutes).  So if you have 1000 CDs pressed, that's $91.00 per song.

I didn't think you were talking about The Mechanicals in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM.

What delightful news from last night about DRs Jed and Ann and their impending parenthood!  Thanks, Grandpa TCB, for letting us know.

Well, our invoice person hs been having computer problems all week, he didn't send the invoices off on Monday, and now he claims we will not see payment till possibly Monday, of course that is, if the Institute received his emails which I don't seem to be receiving. What the hell?

It will be interesting to see what the critics - armchair and otherwise - will have to say about this weekend's presentation.

And speaking of parody lyrics... The "Greatest Hits" section during "Applause" was pretty darn funny.  To me at least.  There were a bunch of people around me who had no idea what was going on.

Won't do me a fucking bit of good since all it can do is sit in a corner till I can purchase the rest of the paraphernalia. On Jan 15, I had over $1000 in savings. Now I've got $45.00, and of course the landlord doesn't give a damn that it's their irresponsibility that's thrown me into a hole.  Can we spell p-i-s-s-e-d?

Thanks again for all the Travel Vibes.  I shall try my best to wave accordingly as I pass over various DRs states.

The Institute still hasn't replaced the computers stolen in 2006 or 2007, which is rude.

I think it's a whole new language that some of us here at HHW use from time to time, depending on our fingers.  ;D

1st JA perf. I saw on the big screen was EMILY(POPPINS was doing one of those " we'll be in Boston Only for the next six mos")>My two faves prior to that were the TV Cinderella and her Carnegie Hall with Miss Burnett. Others include DARLING LILI(Which I've yet to see on the big screen)DUET FOR ONE and of course, VICTOR VICTORIA>I also liked SOB, tho she's more of a smaller part of the ensemble in that...Speaking of big screen, our local Big theater, The Michigan, which has the organ rising out of the orchestra pit, will be showing the film OLIVER! on Feb18. I'm praying it's a good print.

Good morning, all & sundry!

My apologies for not responding earlier to the delightful greetings of the DRs; I was reviewing yesterday's postings (CONGRATS TCB!) and then had to perform some actual work (the nerve of the office taking away from full-time HHW posting).
