Well, you've read the notes, the notes were productive, and now it is time for you to post until the productive cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: RAPPORTEUR!
-
Vixmom - Broadhollow Road.
-
First post after BK.
-
PAGE ONE DANCE!!
-
;)
-
SPOO!! I can't believe that I goobered ANOTHER page dance page number AGAIN! ::) Dopey me!
-
T.O.D.
Do you ever run into an actor or a director who you have bashed in the notes, that may be aware of your comments?
-
Goodnight, George.
-
Good night, Tom.

Well, this isn't good...the hard drive that I just bought from Costco last night was a Seagate Backup Plus Ultra Slim 2TB Portable Hard Drive with Rescue Data Recovery Services (https://www.costco.com/Seagate-Backup-Plus-Ultra-Slim-2TB-Portable-Hard-Drive-with-Rescue-Data-Recovery-Services.product.100301412.html). There are 144 reviews, 66 of which are 5-star, but 60 are 1-star.
According to these reviews, these drives fail quite frequently. :o

Vixmom - Broadhollow Road.
Dang. I'll see if a helpful former coworker will grab it for me. If the ex-boss saw it it may be in the trash or returned marked no such person
-
We'll see how long mine lasts.
-
Well the alarm is going off in a couple of hours

Let's hope that that doesn't happen, Vixmom!
-
Well the alarm is going off in a couple of hours
And I hope that you get some sleep!
-
Which is what I'll be doing now.
Have a good day, all!
-
DR Vixmom we watched you suffer with your job for too long. It is wonderful to read your many posts of joy and hope they continue 😊
-
DR Jeanne they left a note in our room the first night we questioned the heat issue, along with a box of chocolates, say I g the problem had been fixed. That was the night I ended up sleepy g with layers of clothing over my pajamas. They have apologized profusely that it had not been fixed.
The box of chocolates is exceptionally delicious.

Good morning, all!

Good morning.

My easy day at home today has become more difficult. My goddaughter Charlotte, whom I've not seen in ages, is stopping by around 2:00. She has never met Annabelle and Thatch. Before she gets here, I need to tidy up the place and get some work accomplished on the Call Me Madam guitar part.
-
To work!

Today I survived a ferry ride without needing a barf bag.
We visited a fishing village which didn't resemble any fishing villages we have seen. The tour guide introduced us to Chinese bread, a sweet bread filled with different ingredients. Our vegetarian choice was bean. It was a bit too sweet for us.
We saw the largest sitting Budda in the world and I was almost knocked over by a sacred cow. We ate at the vegetarian restaurant at a monastery where they served a large variety of delicious dishes.
The tour ended with a half hour cable ride down the mountain much of which was in the heavy fog. Once we could see it was a lovely view of the bay and the tall buildings of Hong Kong.
-
DR elmore enjoy your visit with Charlotte.
-
I am up and drinking a cup of coffee
-
Thursday - today I have a regular follow up with Dr. Val who supervised my radiation.....
Writing vibes for MR BK.
-
BIG FOLLOW UP VIBES TO DR JRAND!
-
I am glad to hear you will be visiting with Charlotte today!
-
I have been thinking about DR TCB's underwear report. It has been my experience that those in the dressing room always have nice small clothes [as they were called in the 1760's]. I myself always have new underwear for every show....and/or break out the colorful superhero or patterned briefs since they will be on display.
Of all those I have met, I believe that actors and other performers enjoy a bit of frivolity in their drawers.

My question for ASK BK DAY:
When are the authors/composers of a play/musical paid when their play/musical is performed by a theatre - when the theatre pays the royalties OR the dates when the show is performed....
[Putnam County Playhouse has paid all royalties for plays to be performed in the summer of 2019]

My eye was drawn by Jane's shopping bag. They have a Marks and Spencer's there ?

Thanks to all for the chair comments....yes....it will be there.
And today of course I got my new and improved Social Security Benefit.....it amounts to about the same as DR DRUXY's royalty....sort of.....

Good luck on finding the perfect chair Jack. I have also learned through experience to grab that perfect item at the goodwill immediately or it will be gone
-
Thanks DR VIXMOM.
A young girl who got 900 on her SAT - then 9 months later retook the test and improved by 300 points is outraged that her scores are under review.....it has become a news story with a lot of folks standing behind her....with a "We believe you...." theme, etc.
She said this morning:
"I hired a tutor and studied hard, but they have said that they don't believe I have did this."
-
Good morning, all.

says who?
-
Blood test before work this morning.
-
HA! I shall return anon. You have been warned.

You have a good eye. I got the bag when we went to Macau and purchased mint humbug. Today it was filled with an umbrella and water bottles we didn't use.
-
DR Jrand thanks for posting the photo.

Good morning, all.

We were supposed to get a bit of dreaded wintry mix overnight, but we were on the edge of it so it amounted to practically nothing. And that’s nice. Oh yes.
-
DR DRUXY don't spend all your yen in one place.
But he should spend it on whatever he has a yen for.
-
I’ll be listening to the CD later today. We had good friends staying with us, who returned to their new life in San Diego yesterday. Their visit was great, and I think there’s hardly anyone I could say the same about after several days! But now we have our normal lives back, so to speak, and life’s little niceties like proper listening, watching, concentrating, etc., can once again be accomplished.
-
I think that cow is ready to go home with DR Jane.
-
Good morning!
-
Everything is ready for company. Now I can get to my Encores! work.
-
The CD is playing -- on the bedroom stereo, which is nice, but it will be listened to a second time, later, on the Big Speakers.
-
Thursday morning greetings! We have returned from Richard’s second eye surgery and brunch at First Watch. I’ll be back later - after my nap...
-
Three!
-
I'm up, I'm up - not quite eight hours of sleep.
-
The first half of our royalties were paid already although we haven't seen them yet because they go to Doug's agent in NY, and they have to pay the second half within fifteen days of closing. But that's not how it usually works. When and if we license the show, as with the Brain you then get checks twice a year. Since all the major licensing houses were sold to Concord hopefully things will continue to run smoothly in that regard.
-
Vixmom if it's a problem to retrieve we can always send another somewhere else.
-
Bruce if they did your show in Tacoma would you go see it?
That would be cool! BK and David Wechter came to Olympia to see The Brain From Planet X. :)
-
Of course, I was in The Brain, so that might've been a factor. ::)

Yup. I learned that the hard way, too (especially for props purchasing purposes).
-
Doug and I might come if they did the show.
-
Vixmom if it's a problem to retrieve we can always send another somewhere else.
Thank you . I texted with a formerco worker and she has it. We're going to meet over the weekend
-
Interesting about royalties.....
Yes MR BK & former DR POGUE came to see BRAINX when it was performed in Indiana....it was most excellent to meet them both, and the cast & director & Staff were a lot of fun. I think we all got t-shirts....and just being in their company raised my stock considerably at the time....
-
Yes Concord......that's kind of scary..... I noticed when we did CURTAINS - we didn't have to return a lot of the material....scripts, vocal parts, etc.....all on thin paper and plastic bound.....strange after all of those years of erasing and sending back etc.....
-
Last year ANNIE and BEAUTY & THE BEAST were the same old books, etc....that needed to be erased and returned....MTI, I think....
-
My check up was most excellent. So I am feeling pretty good.

The vocal parts for A Christmas Story had to be returned. Several people didn't actually realize that and wrote in them IN PEN AND HIGHLIGHTER!! :o
-
I (made my own copy, but still) only used pencil.
::)
-
My check up was most excellent. So I am feeling pretty good.
Very good news, Jrand!
-
I had a lovely visit with Charlotte, who just left. Annabelle was a friendly hostess, and Thatch hid under the bed.
-
Richard and I have both had naps, but we’re not setting the world on fire. The most ambitious thing I’ve done today was unloading the dishwasher.
-
Today’s procedure was almost identical to last week’s, except he was more groggy afterwards and had to be given some IV medication to counteract the anesthesia.
-
Todays procedure was almost identical to last weeks, except he was more groggy afterwards and had to be given some IV medication to counteract the anesthesia.
Interesting! When I had it done, one surgery I was much deeper asleep than the other. One surgery I remember nothing until it was over; and the other surgery I remember the entire procedure (but still didn't care).
-
~~~~~Successful recovery vibes to DH Richard!~~~~~~
Both of these are interesting. I've always heard from other people I know that they were basically aware of everything, but didn't care. I don't recall anyone saying (or thinking) that they were actually "out" for the procedure. I'll bet they were, though, if only momentarily here and there.
-
Did a huge amount of futzing and finessing and wrote one new page. Then I picked up some packages, then came right back home and wrote two more pages. I'm still about two or three away from finishing this chapter.
Writing vibes for MR BK.
~~~SUPER DITTO, TOO!!~~~
-
My uncle had some photos of his late doggy on an old tracphone - probably over 15 years old.....
My sister and I attempted to get the photos for him. I fortunately had a USB cable that fit into the charging outlet.....but my computer would NOT read the phone.
I downloaded the software from LG and a driver....but nothing would work. Of course the phone is no longer active - since June of 2017....so that may have something to do with it. Even emailing or messaging ONE photo from the charged phone brings up the message "Not enough memory" to do it.
So we took photos of each of the photos and are working on improving them the best we can.....
The End.
-
Every time I go to Dollar Tree, I look at the cables they have. If there is one with a new type of plug or a new size of plug OR a new combination of plugs....I buy it to put it my box of cables. It is in there that I found the cable that would work.
-
They even had a cable that had a regular USB plug on one end and a 3.5 mm Male plug on the other. I have no idea what it might be used for - but if I need it, I've got it, baby!
-
Page Four.
I hope to listen to A Carol Christmas in the next couple of days.
-
Page Four.
I do not believe that we have did this.
-
Good news about the CD of DR VIXMOM....hopefully she will get more dish when the CD is acquired. It could be that her good name is being taken in vain by her former employer....
-
Of course, I was in The Brain, so that might've been a factor. ::)
;)
No, I was coming to see the show; so that might have been a factor.

Well, that TOO!
-
TCB, that would be great - if they need a script to read we'll have it soon. Also, there's a good part for you in it.
Gee, that really would be great, BK; but I just don't see myself as Trina! ::)
-
Thanks to DRs TCB, JRand, and George for the vibes for Richard. We ventured out to get burgers for dinner and now we’re in for the night.

Hello, everyone.

I was told I'd be given "twilight anesthesia," in which I'd be aware of what was going on but feel no pain. Actually, for both of my surgeries I was completely out. I heard nothing and felt nothing, It varies from one person to another and from one procedure to another.

Anyone taking bets on when BK will finish the new book?

Vibes to all.

Doug and I might come if they did the show.
Keith and I would also try to be there.
-
My check up was most excellent. So I am feeling pretty good.
WONDERFUL!

I've written a little over ten pages, so break time and I'll try to write five more at some point this evening. I did finish the chapter and wrote the top of chapter two.

Vibes for Richard and Ginny.
-
Five!
-
Well, time to head out. I'm going to my sister's for a little bit, then home.
Until later!
-
I was hoping to finish off listening to the Ngaio Marsh mystery i started a few days ago. I got halfway through disc five, the last disc, and it stopped working. Right before the murderer was to be revealed.
It didn’t work in the DVD player and the first two cuts didn’t work in my laptop, but I’m finally able to hear the ending on the laptop.
-
Well, I got up to the last 1:30 of the story. I've got a hard copy on reserve at the library in case I want to read the last few paragraphs.
-
And I think I'm going to bed. Mountain cedar is beginning to beat me up. I've got a headache and the start of a sore throat.
-
Good night, all.
-
Had to go to Gelson's to get Chapstick - ran out today, having used up all the extras I always have on hand. Robert Morse was in the checkout line next to me. I also just had to get some toasted coconut almond chip ice cream. Just had a little bit - very good. Had Taco Bell for lunch and I am now officially done with fast food for quite some time, save for In 'N' Out.
-
In about ten minutes I'll resume writing. Only three more pages to complete 15 pages today.
-

Not getting sick vibes. I am holding, not geyworse but not getting better.
-
Fourteen pages - but I'm pooped so I'm listening to music for a bit, then I'll take a nice hot shower, then try to do one more page in the new chapter.

Oh, my goodness! When you turn it in (assuming it's a library copy), please give it to someone and let them know that there were problems with that disc...said the library employee who used to deal with the returning of defective items. ;)

I went to my sister's tonight and she had some cheese that she no longer wanted.
-
It turns out that it was truffle cheese.
-
I've never had truffles, but it tasted like garlic to me.
-
I really liked it. :)
-
I then went to Fred Meyer and got some low-carb/high-fiber tortillas and a package of pepperonis.
-
I have some pizza sauce and I made a couple of tortilla pizzas with the truffle cheese.
-
They were quick and easy and quite delish!
-
I'm at home and watching tonight's episode of The Orville.
-
Is it good?
-
We has sun today though it was not as warm as I hoped it would be. That darn damp wi d is still blowing the polluted air.
-
I thought we were do I g a tour of downtown Hong Kong. Nope, Keith booked this tour to see Stanley Market, which is not downtown, and to Victoria Peak
-
On the way to the market we stopped at a jewelry factory. Not a priority for us but heck, watching them make jewlery might be interesting. First we sat through a sales pitch and then we browsed their store for a very long time. Keith said they should have paid us for our time..
-
Page five? Really?
-
I then went to Fred Meyer and got some low-carb/high-fiber tortillas and a package of pepperonis.
I read that as ”a package of peppermint.”. I was really worried about what you were going to be making!
-
I did the additional page, so fifteen pages today - same as the last two days. I'm sure I'll have to majorly futz and finesse, but I always enjoy that.
-
Page 6
-
Stanley Market was a nice area to shop. Keith found a polo shirt with a dragon on it and I purchased an inexpensive scarf.
Since we arrived we have been seeing these unusual looking soft waffle cones filled with custard or ice cream. We tried just the egg waffle without the ice cream and it was yummy.

I really enjoyed Stanley Market. They had a lot of knock-off electronic stuff. I searched, but never could find a ”Rollex” watch.

I couldn't post a photo. Maybe this link will work.
-
Today was a totally worthless day. Sharry and I were supposed to have our Christmas lunch today, but it was such a nasty day that we put it off until next week. So, I did nothing.
-
Funny Tom. We didn't see too many watches there. Walking around Kowloon the first day it seemed every time we looked at a nice watch store someone approached us to see their knockoffs. We just kept saying no.
-
I didn’t even go to the grocery store. Therefore, my coffee will have no French Vanilla creamer in it.
-

I was really willing to spend good money for a Rollex watch. No such luck!
-
After the market we drove up to Victoria Peak, enjoyed the hazy views for awhile, walked around and then took the tram down. The tram down rides backwards. Fortunately Keith had positioned us well and we were able to grab the last seat, meaning I could turn sideways and face the front. It was an interesting tram, making several stops on the way down, and moving like a very slow roller coaster.
Because of our fairly steep decent the tall buildings we passed all looked slanted.

Sorry.
-
We are now sitting in the outdoor smoking area of our hotel enjoying drinks and Keith's cigar.
We have a nice, though hazy as usual, view of the harbour. If only we didn't have to listen to the sounds of construction on the beautiful new Intercontinental Hotel.
-
DR TCB I was tempted to look for a Cartier.
-
We had reservations for dinner at the nice Chinese restaurant at the hotel and cancelled them. Since it is nice out we will take a walk along the harbour and find someplace to eat.
-
I'm at home and watching tonight's episode of The Orville.
Is it good?
I liked it. There were a couple main story lines that were unexpected.

That's my mom's favorite flavor of creamer, too.
