Well there is an outdoor rock concert - but it's 90 degrees - no I don't want to stand on asphalt in this weather.  There's a couple movies and for some reason I have an inkling to go play the slots.  I haven't even been to this Riverboat Casino. It replaced the old one several years ago, but for some reason I feel like going.

Isn't it a good thing if people don't need to call the hotline??? :)

Possibly, but it could also mean that people are too busy engaging in risky behavior.  Oh well, I'll just talk to them on Monday morning when they call all freaked out about what they did tonight.

I think I've been doing this work too long.  :)

What a great idea!  A Kritzerland calendar with some of the great art work that we have seen on your CDs and your books.  I like it!

Yea!  That would work, too.

Oh man, I missed the swearing in of new citizens today.  I love to go to that.  It's so cool to see the people who have worked for years and years just waiting for the day they will become citizens.  It's really inspiring.

As some of you know, PennyO has asked me to not only direct her show (the four-hander version) and help her with it, but to replace all the existing songs with originals by yours truly.  I've been having a lot of fun doing so - two are now completely complete.

So, BK...could this be a future Kritzerland DVD release??

George - you never know.  We'll have to see how these first two sell - one other thing I'm thinking about doing is putting out the original director's cut of The Creature Wasn't Nice, along with its bastardized theatrical version.  We shall see.

Miss Cindy Williams will be arriving at about 5:45 and we will then trek to the Wood of West.  We were almost going to have to pick up Miss Penny Marshall, but she's just got back into town and has jet lag so will not be there.

There are so many things to say about the above statement. (having Laverne and Shirley in the same car with BK) However, I'm sure everyone is SO over that, especially BK.

A director's cut of T.C.W.N. would be pretty darned cool!  Hope it all works out!

Good Evening!

Well... I made it downtown to James' office... Hopefully, the uptown trains will be running again later tonight - the rain is really wreaking havoc on the subway system today.  -I'm just glad I don't work in Queens... No trains at all in or out from Queens Plaza - or some stop like that.

Well...  That's all for now... We're heading out to dinner...

Laters...

Aha, that is why when I talked to Rodzinski he told me that he had just gotten home from work.  Which ended 2 hours ago.  And he works in Queens.  I hope I can get home when I'm off in an hour.

Just awaiting the arrival of Miss Williams.  I assume there will be a good deal of traffic coming this way.  Then I assume there will be a good deal of traffic going to the theater - or there will be no traffic and we'll get there ninety minutes early!

I think I've been doing this work too long.  :)

DR TPunk - another book (not new) that I saw listed today was titled Wellness for Helping Professionals.  I thought there are several of us on the site who might be able to use that!

I cannot put this book down!

DR Elmore - may I borrow it when you're finished?  My library appears not to have ordered it.  Don't get me started...

Well, Alfie was just so depressing - very stylish movie - done up to suggest the 60's, in a way. Jude Law is so good in it. But egad! I had forgotten what a depressing story it is...

That, and the heavy downpour... well, I need something like IceCream!!! to cheer me up... and it came in the form of a terrific lyric by Bruce K - for the expanded Thighs. I laughed out loud.

Well, i think I'll go rummage in the refrigerator for some grub... back laters, gators!

I, and a couple of other DRs as well as one of my co-workers would all go for that idea, BK!!

Of course you and Cindy must do commentary.

I finshed MOMMIE DEAREST, and the rest of the DVD looked sharp and well done. I have no complaints with it, so I'm glad I'm not rebuying the new edition, even though it is reasonably priced.

Next, I put in I LOVE MELVIN. Such a zippy, unpretentious little musical. Always enjoy it though on the bigger screen it's pretty obvious that the film is in dire need of some Technicolor restoration. Doesn't have nearly the richness of color that LOVELY TO LOOK AT has.

Then, I watched the first episode in THE SIX WIVES OF HENRY VIII - Catherine of Aragon, which has always been my favorite of the six episodes. Annette Crosbie gives a riveting performance as the noble queen. Keith Michell, of course, won an Emmy for playing Henry VIII, though he won it for the fifth episode Catherine Howard rather than this first one.

Having enjoyed that, I put on the second episode in the series - Anne Bolyn. Dorothy Tutin is great as the tragic, foolish Anne. I didn't get quite to the end of this one so I'll finish it tomorrow.

Yes, you must!!! There are things in the original cut that are very funny. Obviously, I'm not as close to it, so I enjoyed the bastardized version as well (or else I would never have shown up on this here site), but both should be seen.
