The butterflies are leaving the red passion vine alone and are laying eggs on the other ones. One is heavily eaten, and one was completely eaten.

DR Edisaurus - Congratulations on finishing your project.  When do you and DH Greg depart for CA?

Oh, and you can print your own copy of "Laura" for a nominal fee HERE.

Friday morning greetings!

Oh, my, it's one of those days - we're very short-handed and I've been drafted for a couple of hours of information-waitressing

Media check:

CDs(car) - Mamma Mia!
DVDs - The Bridge to Terabithia, Poseidon

Thanks, Sing!

And we leave on Wed.

Conveniently, our editor friend from NY is in town the day we leave so he will be doing most of the housesitting and we may not have to pay for a housesitter!

Yay!

Even though it explains in that article you posted, I really can't figure the minds that schedule things like your show and the new film of Sweeney Todd as holiday fare!!!   :-\

DR Edi - sorry to hear about your friend's sister.

So, will the link that DR Singdaw provided meet your sheet music needs?  I'm looking right now at 2 different versions of "Laura" and could try to talk my friend in the local history room into teaching me how to scan & email.

Just an FYI for folks looking for such items - don't forget your public library!  Generally, the "main" locations of big systems have extensive sheet music collections.

The book delivery was amazingly smooth: the car was loaded with about 10 cartons of items by 8:20, we were at the Center by 8:45, and the building super let us in, lents us a dolly to tote the cartons and opened the library.  We were finished by 8:55 and the building didn't officially open till 9:00.  The drummer is on his way to pick up the parts and should be here around 11. I'm off to the PO to post DR Ginny's box of ink cartridges.  I hope my physical goes as smoothly.

DR Elmore - I'm glad to hear that your day is going so smoothly - hope it continues!

I just got off the phone with one of my professional friends at Victoria Theatre Association and not only will she get me into a performance of DR Jason's A Christmas Carol, she invited me to attend the sponsors' brunch afterward.  That makes it a work-related event, which I can do on library time!

Good morning!

Another beautiful looking day, but it's going to be cooler than yesterday, so I'll be hauling out a jacket when I go out today for my usual Friday errands.

None of my usual Friday night shows are on tonight, so I'll be DVDing it all afternoon and evening today. Looking forward to finally clearing off that DVR over the weekend.

We had a pretty good preview last night, although they had just repainted and sealed the floor (they use both the proscenium stage and the actual floor of the theater, with the audience seated on 3 sides), so four (count 'em) people slipped and fell, including Miss Oregon 2007, who took a rather nasty spill during the waltz scene.  Like George, we officially open tonight.

DR Jason's show will be here in Dayton as part of Victoria Theatre Association's Physicians for Kids Discovery Series.  Here is the Study Guide for next week's show.

Hello, all, from my new home computer...the HP Pavilion my mom has given me for Christmas.

I reestablished an internet linkage this morning, although I'm not "all set and ready to go" as they say.  Still some wrinkles to iron out, especially in the home page department...and in reestablishing my "Favorites" linkages to my most favorite (and popular to many, varied and sundried others) sites.

Fortunately, I am still capable of remembering how to call them up via www. addresses.

TOD:

CD:  I'm currently listening to Contemporary Christian artist (so sue me) Mark Schultz, who writes some incredibly pretty stuff.  My fave of his right now is "You Are a Child of Mine," which sounds a bit like Kenny Loggins.

DVD:  I have so many piles of things lying around here, it's scary.  Yesterday I managed to get reviews up of both the new Nirvana Unplugged DVD and a Hawaiian guy named Reichel.  I need to still get through the new Eric Clapton Crossroads DVD and the 3rd season of Wild, Wild West before my next package arrives (which will probably be today).  On the non-reviewing front, I've been skimming through the Sim Christmas Carol, though so far I am finding the commentary a little less than brilliant.

So NOW the producer is dealing with the music. But thanks foryour help anyway, and if it doesn't work out, I'll try that sheet music site!

Ginny, I do rely on the library. My mom studied library science and was a librarian for many years!
