I'm back from a very successful opening night, though they were smoking something in the booth, as several pre-record cues were late, late, late (not that anyone other than I and the actors noticed).  The unexpected high point was in the second act when the Prince and Cinderella kissed for the first time and some little 4 or 5 year old boy in the front row let out an hilarious "Eeeewwwwww" that brought the house down.

I'm back from a really dreadful production called "Love, Johnny", based on the life of Johnny Mercer. Man, what a messy book---it made absolutely no sense to any of us who went, and we know about his life.

There were a few songs that I never realized he'd written and a few I'd never heard before, but still it wasn't work the time spent. And I even got comp tickets!
