THE BACKWARDS NOTES

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were both backwards and forwards, and now it is time for you to post until the backwards cows come home.

I'm in Los Angeles, but still on Austin time.

Saw my friend, Michael Ansara, yesterday.  Had dinner with my son and brother.

A very nice, albeit tiring, day.

Good morning, all! I slept late. Last night I dreamed I was a policeman and I was shot in the back of the head while I was sitting in a police car. The person also sitting in the car held me down while I was shot several times in the back before the coup de grace. It was an unsettling dream and the second one I recall about my being murdered. The other dream, in which I was dismembered, happened while I loved in Ohio, around 35 years ago.

I still don't know why yesterday was such a long and exhausting day, but I am not happy about it. I am happy the miners were rescued.

DR Jose, I think the soprano problem is solved, although with recording schedules and vocal problems I won't be certain till it's over. Last night, my bass sent me an email; asking me to send him three of the seven of the songs he's recording since he's misplaced his copies. I can pull the music and run to Staples to copy them but I have no idea where to send them until I hear back from him. I don't know if he's in Buffalo or in Manhattan singign BORIS GODUNOV at the Met. So, I wait for further information.

DR cillaliz, Little Ricky has got me very much wanting a kitten, which I cannot do, so you need to post more photos of him.

Beyond that, I've got some work here. First, breakfast and coffee.

Question for BK:  What do you think of this open investment plan for the upcoming GODSPELL B'way revival?  Do you think you might put in $1000?

That was one disturbing dream, DR Elmore!

I've had dreams in which I murdered someone, but not getting murdered myself...

GAMBOGE--wasn't that a 60's suspense/thriller starring Michael Caine and Audrey Hepburn?

My question for BK:  With all the interviews, readings, and press your autobio is getting are you noticing a considerable uptick in sales from your previous books...and has it helped the sales of your other books as well as the autobio?

I certainly hope so!

I was awake every hour on the hour from 4am on. . .yet, when I was sleeping, I was sleeping well.

Had one very odd dream about my meds being the wrong meds, and another one of all of the neices on my father's side of the family welcoming me into a house on a hilltop. . .

Bad sinuses this morning, but a salt-water gargle and a very hot shower has helped.

A little bit of diverticuli spasms, but, I'll knock that feeling out with a Tylenol or two.

Off to the library for now.

I'm sort of annoyed with NBC. I have been watching the Event on Saturday nights and it was scheduled for this saturday. Then yesterday they cancelled the new show The Outlaw (is that the name?) and are running the last 4 episodes on saturdays. So they are taking off The Event. If they had done this before the show aired on Monday I could have recorded it on Monday. I guess I will have to watch it online instead.

DR ELMORE - the Dream O Matic 6000 says that your dream is about your feelings of being stabbed in the back and hindered for doing your job well, and that knowing more than others makes you a target.

DR td - your dream shows lack of confidence in your doctors or perhaps feelings that they are treating only a portion of your symptoms, also a change is in order for your life, though you are not sure what it is.

Kind of quiet today, although I expect a houseful of company and I have no place to go to get out of it.

Thank you, Jennifer and JRand. I'm able to focus a little more this morning. Hopefully, I can get some work done today. Head still feels like a pinata that's been whacked a few too many times.

My question for ASK BK day.....what is your favorite Ronald Stein score?  And your favorite Les Baxter score?

SADISMO is most entertaining, to be sure.
