Hello, all!  I have had a splendidly splendid day so far.  My barber did an amazing job, given what he had to work with, and I spent two loverly hours chez DR Ben and Baxter the Clown.  It was a festive holiday visit, and their glorious tree should be the envy of all.  Many reputations were made, several destroyed, and the gossip flew.

So, then to West 27th Street to deal with ANNIE GET YOUR GUN; it's hard to explain this "virtual orchestra" but it's a program to be used in performance to augment a live ensemble.  This was the first time I've ever heard the orchestration, which I did in 1999-2000, for the stock package.  So far, it sounds soooo much better than I feared.  I was so afraid I'd be humiliated in front of a group of gentlemen I just met.  Of course, we're only halfway through "Doing what Comes Natcherly," but I'm smiling today!

DR TCB, I just learned one of our DR Cason's nicknames from his lovely mother, but I've vowed never to reveal it.  However, upon receipt of a substantial check, I could email it to you.

TOD: I was so busy posting Nutcracker snow photos, I forgot the topic, so:
   TOM JONES
   THE FIRST NUDIE MUSICAL
   LA KERMESSE HEROIQUE
   DOUBLE INDEMNITY
   THE MUSIC MAN
And it will change tomorrow, or perhaps later with my moodswings.  Meds!  I need meds!

TOD...
There are so many movies I like, I hate this game....

Of course I'd have to take Sacco and Vanzetti

Ahhh, I believe they are both dead.

I'll drink to that!  I suspect that my new friend Kirk, after working for 4 hours with me on virtual orchestration, needs a drink as well!

TCB ~ If anyone should be getting a check, it's me, not DR Elmo.  So bribe me for the list of names -- a buck per name?  Like I said, I got a million of 'em! ;D ;) ;D

SACCO AND VANZETTI is not dead.  Sacco and Vanzetti is not dead.  And, "Sacco and Vanzetti" is not dead.

However, Sacco and Vanzetti are dead.

DH Richard and I are back at our respective computers, trying to return to normal life after a lovely, but very emotional, service for our friend.

I keep thinking that, last MLK Day, we flew to NYC and had dinner that evening at Barrymore's with Hainsies and Kimlets.

We're going out to dinner soon - Olive Garden, I think.

You sound jealous!  However, I've decided my fear of the wrath of the Murphys will prevent my releasing names for our DR Cason.  I'll save them for my scandalous biography.

What a rip-off!  Jake Gyllenhaal's video has been removed from You Tube due to copyright infringement.

MLK weekend is the anniversary of the time my mother was killed.  She was killed on the Sunday before the holiday, and my sister and I were supposed to have lunch with her on Monday to celebrate my new job / promotion.  Hard to believe it has been thirteen years.

I am alive.

It's a very quiet day, chez RLP.

I've been very introspective the past couple of days.

Oh, yes, I've been retrospective.

Please don't ask about my retrospective.

I'm reticent to discuss it.

Oh, yes, I'm reticent.

I shall stay mum lest the unexpurgated truth comes out.

And you do NOT want the unexpurgated truth today.
