Good morning, all! I remember bits of several dreams last night.  First, another Drama Book Shop dream about their ridiculous inventory system, and then some about the Charge of the Light Brigade and the Crimean War. Oy! I remember too little of  either one to explain my presence.

This morning, I will leave here around 8:15 and head down to 48th Street to attend the first day of recording sessions for PAINT YOUR WAGON.  I'm looking forward to seeing friends and listening to the Encores! orchestra play that wonderful score.

Had to go to the doctors early this morning, but I'm back in hopes that I won't get sick again. I'm on a diet for 2 weeks.

That's all I have to say.

Good morning, all.

A pretty good sleep, brought to a conclusion by a typically repetitive and annoying dream.  And a couple of hungry cats.

Hard to believe it's Friday already.  Well, that's what happens when you start the week with a holiday.  But when I was working, these four-day weeks invariably were hell to get through, and seemed longer than regular ones.  Go figure.

TOD

BLOOD AND BLACK LACE (which I'll be seeing for my first time)
"X" - THE MAN WITH THE X-RAY EYES

And for something a little less serious:  MISSISSIPPI BURNING, which I didn't get to last week.

And probably bits from a lot of records, as I attempt some more cleaning and sampling and weeding out.

Last night Richard and I went to our local public library for an author talk by Linda Riesenberg Fisler.  She teaches at the art center in town and has just published her first novel.

We had another storm during the night. Plenty of standing water this morning in the backyard, but the figs, the peach tree and the olive tree all seem to love it.

From DR George:
Quote
I haven't read much that said anything good about this.

Maybe it was the expensive comfy seats with the ottoman I enjoyed most, plus sitting eye level with the screen.  The sound was also excellent.  What I really enjoy, and Keith as well, was the teenage girl who was delightful.

DR LAURA I think your interpretation of your rattlesnake dream was as good as what we might get from the Dream-O-Matic 6000.
