On the DD front -- we are hanging in there.  The little one is a darling and the big one is still being a stinker.

Sorry.

I never received anything about the e-book settlement.

Don't you have a Nook?

A Nook?  No, I have a Kindle and an iPad.

I knew you did not have a Nook :)

Only people with a Nook are getting the settlement?

Listening to Jack Beeson - first his opera of Hello Out There and now his Symphony No. 1.  The symphony is fine, but the opera is much more than fine.  I listened to a lot of Copland this evening and learned something: For me, you can't listen to a lot of Copland in a row.  I grew weary, frankly, something that never happens when I listen to a lot of Robert Ward or Howard Hanson or Vaughn-Williams or any of my major favorites.  I'm thinking my favorite Copland listen might just be the suite from his opera The Tender Land.

I don't have a Nook or a Kindle - does that mean I'm eligible?

Well, it's time for me to leave work.  I'm cat- and fish-feeding for my friend Margo, so I need to do that before I go home.

I hope you're not feeding the fish to the cats.   ;)

Bite your tongue!  That's icky. :P

Barnes and Noble just began their 50% off Criterion sale.  Great deals on almost all titles.

I've already found three titles that I want.

I received an email from Barnes and Noble that I have a $14.13 credit due to the settlement on the ebook lawsuit.

A coworker of mine said that she got almost $30.
