I used Safeco paint for most of the renovation on my house in Alexandria. It's excellent paint. We used mostly low-VOC and also some no-VOC. I'd use it again in a heartbeat.

I never tried that brand.  You were lucky to find a good paint.  Fortunately I haven't found the paint we have used in recent years to be overly bothersome.

TCB, Phoenix is a popular area for retirees. Yes, it is miserably hot in the summer, but you just stay inside. We have no snow, no hurricanes, little humidity (only with the summer storms), and a pretty good cost of living.

Laura, perhaps you should work for the Chamber of Commerce!

No ragged edges and small miracle vibes for MR BK.

DR TCB you could come and live in Indiana - there ain't nothing here, but it's fun sometimes.

Nice props DR GEORGE.

I thought about Indiana, but I was afraid you and I would end up competing for the same roles.

TCB, last night's ruminations were delightful.

And should get an award for proper use of posting space.

Would you really avoid a city because an ex of yours lives there?  (or was that just a joke?)

Thank you, Fred, I am glad you enjoyed them.

Normally, I probably would be joking, but when it comes to Dumb Dennis and Iowa, it is no joke!

I tried to log on from 7:30 to 9:30 when I left for City Center.  O am home early since Joshie had an Irish Rep band rehearsal at 12:30 to rehearse my close personal friend and DR Laura's, Ben Davis, who goes into the show tonight. I brought work home with me and I'll see him on Monday.

Ben Davis is going into what show?

Topic of the Day:

Bolero de Amor from Barry Manilow's Copacabana
Boom Chicka Boom from Nick and Nora (although the video is not from Nick and Nora ;) )
Not on Your Nellie from Darling of the Day
Someone's Moving In from Brownstone

I love that, George!!!

Thanks, Fred!

Wonderful performance of a great silly song.

Thanks, John!

George, do you get the Disney Channel? Their film version of the new Freaky Friday musical is premiering tomorrow.

Thanks for letting me know, John!

I went through all my Legally Blonde e-mails and saw sonething that I had forgotten to note (sweat bands for Elle's parents), so I bought some at Big 5.
