IIRC, that was a Hallmark Hall of Fame production and I believe some of those productions have indeed been licensed for HD upgrades.  I'm not sure if the source material for Fantasticks is still around.

...Or could just have a nice, leisurely evening with some friends here in NYC and head down to Richmond tomorrow afternoon.  Yeah! That's the ticket!

After arising at 3 a.m., we had a flight to Denver, followed by a flight to Milwaukee.  We are in the Radisson, which I am currently irate with (what else is new?).  This is a large hotel with an interior courtyard with a pool.  For over SIX HOURS today, from the time we checked in until a few minutes ago when I threatened the front desk that I was about to call the police, the pool has been full (as in 30 or more kids) of raucous teens, making so much noise that we literally could not hear each other speak in conversational tones in our room, and we're on the second floor!  We called several times down to the front desk, with no quieting.  I finally went down to the front desk and in front of a bunch of people checking in informed the staff in loud tones that I was about to phone the police if this problem was not solved.  Everyone in line was very sympathetic, especially after they heard I had kids trying to get to sleep.  The coup de grace was the security guy coming up to my room, saying they were closing the pool early (5 minutes), and that I SHOULDN'T HAVE BOOKED MY ROOM IN THIS PART OF THE HOTEL!!!  Like I knew--they frigging assigned me this room.  I couldn't believe it.

DR JMK - Are you sure that some of those kids weren't part of the Bar Mitzvah?

He does electrical work, too.   So butch.

I'm not sure knowing how to properly install batteries is considered "electrical work".

We seem to have been down for a while.

I frequently have problems when logging in, logging out, or quoting posts, and sometimes when posting, but wasn't sure if it was the server or just my computer.

Hmmm... Or PEBKAC?

MEDIUM had a pretty creepy episode too with all of those weird symbols, but I figured out the murderer's identity VERY early, especially once they gave the right/left hand clue.

I'm watching it right now and just got to that point.  I wondered if that was the case, too.

As for "Balloon Boy"... Well... Regardless of what's really going with the whole situation... Um, yes, kids do hide when they think they're going to get scolded, get in trouble, after doing something they weren't supposed to.  That's not new behavior by a long shot.

Back from the Gardenia and an evening of songs by the composer and lyricist of the long musical - songs they've written together for our show (they did five), and songs they've written with others or by themselves.  It was a nice evening - Jason Graae did two songs, and Andrea Marcovicci one - I must say I find the latter fascinating for any number of reasons.  Lots of friends in the audience and I met some nice folks.  I'll go write the notes but they'll probably be up a little late.
