Not really. There have been raccoon sightings around here before, but my niece knew to be careful so that the raccoons don't get her chickens.

It was good to come home to the new Carols for a Cure, one of the better volumes in recent years. Carols of the Beetleballs from Beetlejuice was better than I thought it would be, and Wicked on that wonderful German carol, Lo, How a Rose E're Blooming is nice. I also liked the version of Baby, It's Cold Outside from Mean Girls.

Back from a run-through. We actually got through the show, which was illuminating for me in many ways. Much work to be done now. But acts one and three are at least within eight and five minutes each of what I want them to run. Act two, at the moment, is a disaster - ran over twenty minutes longer than it needs to. So, tomorrow's rehearsal is act two only, over and over again until it's right. Thursday will be act three only, and then Friday we run the show again and see where we are.
