Good morning, all!
BK, there's no post from you today. It's the one for Friday. Did you stay too long at the fair? I want to hear all about TFNM last night!
I am doing laundry, and when it's finished, I will head down to Toylnd to finish tapng the orchestra parts. I've got some work on EILEEN to do before I go, as well as vacuuming the apartment. Last night I had more dreams about working at The Drama Book Shop.
More coffee!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Safe, happy, healthy weekend vibes for all! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's chilly this morning and they've dropped the forecast high from around 80 to 75. We won't even see that if the overcast doesn't burn off. But it probably will. Not that I care either way, this being mostly a get things down around the house kind of day.
Doug R: Did they haul you down to Scotland Yard and give you a good talking to?
And the word of the day is: POCHISMO!
This is the perp (no joke):
For levity (jaw-dropping levity) take a look at the Osmond Brothers performing a medley from "Fiddler on the Roof."How young they all were then. I had such a thing for Alan--not Donny like most. But then I've never liked based on looks.

We are hoping to reach 60 degrees today. Yesterday we topped out at 58 degrees. Ah, June in the Northwest!
Morning all! I came home last night and just missed being caught in real downpour. We had one really good flash of lightning with a equally impressive BOOM of thunder and the lights went off. That was it for the dogs--both were trying to get into my lap. Needless to say I only have so much lap and there was no room at the inn so I moved to the couch!
After I sat with them for a bit I guess the week caught up with me because I fell asleep and didn't wake until almost 10:30. I had a episode or two of not being able to breath, knowing that I needed my mask but couldn't wake up enough to stop it from happening. Lord, I hate it when that happens. It's so scary. I know I've been warned not to sleep with out the mask but sometimes it just happens. I had such a head ache when I was finely able to wake up enough to get up and go to bed.
I don't think i truly rest when that happens because I managed to sleep (in bed with the mask on) until nine this morning.
So much for my exciting Friday night!
So glad to read TFNM went so well. Wish I could have been there!
So, now I don't have to worry that I'll run into mom and dad at a stop sign.
Jane, how are your hearing aids working out?

I remember my Mom wondering why I loved Hoss from "Bonanza" and not "Little Joe" because he was cuter. Hoss was gentle and kind. I didn't give a flip about LJ's looks.

If I was the composer, I'd shoot them.
::)
Speaking of Michael Landon, he is buried near my parents. They do not have as fine a spot as he does.

Doesn't anyone want to come out and play?
Actually, now that I think about it, pasta for the Tony Awards sounds like a better bet.
You can Rig an Oscar, but can you Rig-a-Tony
How could we get by, Fred, without you?

Does he have his own entrance into his crypt?

Summer is not as close as I wish.

He has his own entrance, but there is no exit.
Thanks, Danise.
I'm in Rome today and too tired now to post any more photos. I leave tomorrow. So, I'll be off for a few days.
I think Rome is wonderful, but it's also too hectic and noisy after a relaxing week away from people. The throngs are just enormous, everywhere you turn. We went to the Trevi Fountain and you had to fight to get near the water. We saw the Spanish steps but didn't go near them for the same reason. There just wasn't enough time to get anywhere near the Coliseum or the Vatican or any place like that. Another trip.
Thanks, Danise.

Well, back to laundry.
We just had a very summer-y supper - BLT sandwiches, deviled eggs, 3-bean salad.

I will confess, DR TCB, the eggs and the salad were bought at the Dorothy Lane Market deli, but they hit the spot! Richard said I make better deviled eggs.

We just got home from seeing the tour of "Million Dollar Quartet." The local critic didn't like it, but I thought it was fun.
With her permission, here she is with her dog Cookie
Ginny, she said thanks for the hug and she remembers that she called you cute because you are cute!
Actually 2007, I think - wasn't it during The Brain?

Yes it was during Brain, was that 2007? I'll have to tell her she's wrong :)
Thanks BK. Didn't remember the year, definitely remember the show and the great fun of the HHW get together

OK, so the Osmonds clip could actually be worse than Cher singing all the parts of "Tonight" from "West Side Story." And that's saying something.

That's a wonderful picture of Samantha, Cillaliz!
Okay, apparently we have become both camp and cult at the same time. It looks like I Need an Earthman is becoming quite the thing for drag queens and burlesque queens to do - and I LOVE it! :)
