And another "quote" error just occurred.

Ginny will never know the scintillating response I had about the length of her nap.  :)

I have accomplished very little today.  Every time I check the Laudry Room, all of the machines (two each) were full; so I guess I will do laundry tomorrow after work.

I am going to start on the bathroom after I finish dinner.

With luck he will keep napping until it is my bedtime.

I'm trying the popular no-knead bread recipe. The dough is now sitting for the next 18-hours. I hope I didn't knead it too much. I like kneading dough. It's therapeutic. I just image the faces of people who haven't hired me.

It is difficult for me to knead now.  Please let me know how the bread comes out.
The recipe says it's fool-proof, but I may just be the fool ...

Just had the best salad in a while: A mango, tomato, avocado chop with cinnamon, fresh mint and balsamic vinegar.

You didn't type & lose it?  You simply didn't right it at all-yes?

I just go back up & click on quote again, or respond without quoting. :)

2nd try and it worked.

That salad is not only very pretty it looks tasty.  I also made a colorful Mexican salad this afternoon.  I bet adding avocado to it would taste good.  I don't know that we have any.

I am certainly hoping to see the show.  You remember the last time I was coming to see the show, I got snowed in to my house.  Hopefully that won't happen this time.

Tax return completed (federal).  We have till May 1st for the state return.  Why rush?

I have just completed and e-filed my federal tax return (Washington state doesn't have a state return).  My estimated direct deposit refund date is April 29, 2011, which is also my regular payday AND when my property taxes are due.

I am watching one of the local political discussion shows.   The teachers in Washington State are horrified and outraged that a 3% salary cut for them has been included in the proposed state budget.  I heard not one complant when the 3% pay cut was announced for all other state employees (except for the Legislators).  In fact they are still a lot of people pushing to increase that cut (increase = cut?  Hmm) to, at least 5% cut.

We should have moved to Washington instead of Oregon.  Maybe our next move ;)

Yesterday, FJL asked:
Quote
George - Do critics come on opening night?
Not specifically.  We had some people come last week, a week before we opened, but it was a rehearsal and we really weren't ready and at least one review mentioned that.  A couple of the reviewers came back again on opening night and amended their reviews...for the better. :)

And Jeanne wrote:

Congrats to George on a successful opening night.
Thanks, Jeanne!
