Question: What popular non-musical movie title is hiding in the images below?

No fair naming the logos -- just say the name of the movie if you know it!

This should be a snap for you guys....

Didn't know who 4 of them were either.  I thought pop music stopped about 1975!

I could not agree more. I was lucky enough to see the original, and it was pure, unadulterated joy from beginning to end. And Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke would have been perfection in a movie version. What a missed opportunity! (When SHE LOVES ME fell through, there was also talk of I DO! I DO! for them; that would also have been wonderful.)

Sadly, they settled on THE GIN GAME instead.

I believe that's "Pink," not Gwen Stefani.

Well, they are all one-name artists, except for "The Artist Formerly Known As Prince/Symbol that doesn't exist on my keyboard" - so I'm gonna go with him?

The Artist Formerly Known As Prince (or "Tafkap" as Rosie O'Donnell used to call him ;)) has actually gone back to his one name, "Prince."

I am available for Dupars and Indian food much of that week should any L.A. DRs or vintage MALE motion picture stars be hungry.

There, that's better.

they had three weeks to write it and go into production once Leroy Anderson was fired.

Wow--I never heard that story about CANDIDE!

I only have it on vinyl and would like to buy a CD. Any recommendations?

He preferred it to "Princess?"

That's WONDERFUL TOWN; CANDIDE was in writing for about 3 years.  The Broadway cast with Barbara Cook is still the best.

I'm honored to be invited. What/where is Musso and Frank? Sorry, I'm new here.

Bretty! How can you NOT know about Musso and Frank's? I don't even live in LA and I've been there! It's legendary!

Talk about putting lipstick on a pig:

Debra Messing is in the new Drew Barrymore film.

Saw the preview for HAIRSPRAY opening July 20 - Travolta looks really bad, but everything else looks fine!!

Paul Peterson, Eddie Hodges, and John Davidson in a movie, and we were supposed to notice Tommy Steele?

Bretty, don’t feel bad.  I’m from West L.A. and didn’t know about it until a number of years ago when we were visiting & met someone there for lunch, his pick because he didn’t work far from the restaurant.

As vegetarians, we were unimpressed.  The food was pretty but not exciting.

Bernstein and Hellman were involved in the casting, plus an excellent conductor, the brilliant Hershy Kay orchestrations, and a 35-piece orchestra.  Why didn't Goddard Lieberson go ahead and record the complete score?

I thought it was Gwen Stefani, too!

Back from dinner - crab cakes on angel hair pasta.  People from all over Ohio are beginning to descend on Tiffin - 2 vans were unloading when we came back to the hotel.
