Printing out pages, then shall go to Staples to have a copy made and to print out the Brain script.  Nothing to talk about yet - just some interest thanks to ASCAP's Michael Kerker's raving about the CD.

How can Eddie Hodges be 60? (today?)

He had "High Hopes"!

OH!

Besides the 'celebrities' that were in the same rehearsal room I was in, there happened to be on other 'celebrity' waiting in the halls, apparently waiting to go into an audition: Miss "Grease: YTOTIW" Herself, Ashley A.

At least it's good to know she's still out there hoping to be the one that someone wants.  ;)

And not a single word about my attic collection of double knit leisure suits, garish polyester shirts, and appropriate accessories (beads, rings, bracelets, etc).

I also have boxes and boxes, and more boxes,  of T-Shirts (Shows, Destinations, Humor, and Gay Bars - world wide!)

On here we even attempt to fly it on the slightest breeze.

That was of course an attempt to reference the Caterina Valente posts from two weeks back.

Thank you DR RLP for the "High Hopes" reference.  We live in the high hopes that someone will read our posts. DR TCB no doubt still wishes that Eddie will knock and ring and tap  on his door.

Don't bet on it! My little mind recalled the cute red woolen swimsuit with the blue and white sailboat on the chest I had as a pre-schooler. I actually saved it all these years, and my daughter now has it.

Note to historians: When I was a pre-schooler it was illegal for men of any age to appear on the beach with exposed nipples.

But, a lot of those laws did change after the Civil War.

We're STILL on page twelve?  I've been to Staples, printed out a couple of Brain scripts (with alien-green covers), printed out reviews and press stuff, and also copied the new forty-five pages of the new book for Margaret.

Car troubles are for the birds.  If you buy a PT Cruiser, expect to have to replace the wheel bearings within the first 18 months.  Under warranty, but still irritating.

Maybe I haven't seen a good production of THE SKIN OF OUR TEETH.

I shall look for one, which will certainly change my opinion of said play.

I was fortunate to see all the Tony nominated musicals that season - actually three of them in one week as it would turn out.  And, yes, I thought Avenue Q truly was the best of the bunch.  *And I even happened to be lucky enough to see Wicked when both Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth were both in.  ;)

Wow!  That was almost as rare as seeing LESTAT when it was popular.   ;D

March 5th is the Eddie Hodges birthdate. I think I read the information when it was my yesterday but not yours. It's all so confusing. The birthday of Allison Hayes was of course yesterday. Or that maybe today.

Today's birthday is that of Danyel Gérard.  He had a world wide hit with "Butterfly" - a reference to earlier posts.  Caterina Valente also sang his compositions.

This is a site for the well-informed reader.

By today I mean your tomorrow.  My tomorrow is the birthday of Mickey Dolenz.
