I heard on the news that someone in D.C. was struck by a train while en route to the festivities.

I hope this wasn't fatal.  So sad to be so excited and to do something so dangerous.

I am at work.

I am feeling much, much better.

I'm still a bit hoarse...and I'm still "making" tuna glop.

But it's all less frequent...and no more coughing.

And I realize that some would dispute that.     :)

The past three weeks have been somewhat of a blur.

I feel a bit out-of-touch and have fallen way behind in everything.

Sigh.

Has anyone here jumped on the "Jeb Bush for President in 2012" bandwagon yet?

I'm "time-shifting" and going in to work later so I can watch the inaguaration. I'm torn between going to a few gatherings which would be crowded and noisy, or watching at home by myself. I'm leaning towards the latter.

Isn't that kind of personal?     :)

I'm "time-shifting"

Soon you'll be "shape-shifting," too!

I must head downstairs now and get ready to go out to lunch with best friend John. Despite the snow, he's picking me up so we can do lunch today since we missed it yesterday. Should be fun.

I've always thought it rude when folks do it in public, but it should be all right to discuss given the positive hygienic results of same.

Oh, so I guess you haven't heard that a couple of DRs moved to Portland, OR, over the past couple of days?

Lots of my Beach Party Nuclear Protest friends have commented on the photo, and it's like a mini reunion.  Now we just need someone from COASTAL DISTURBANCES to come along and yell that we are using all of their Facebook.

DR Jane, re: your PVR recording THE MENTALIST.

Obviously it doesn't know about the delays due to football.

Whenever a game is on i always check to see the status so i can adjust the show i am taping!
There was some interesting stuff at the beginning. Maybe you could check it out online.

It seems there are always games on.  Fortunately this doesn't happen too often & I must admit with digital programing I don't even remember what night half my shows are on.

I'm awake and caught up.

TOD - I didn't hang out in high school.  Not at a restaurant, not at someone's home, no where.
When I started doing theatre, we used to hang out at several local restaurant's that are now closed.  It's all really sad, the theatre groups aren't around anymore and neither are the hangouts.  Why can't it be like it was?

MR BK now has a fine package on its way to him....it contains one DVD and one CD.

DR MBARNUM also has a box on its way to him.  It contains some surprises for the eye and the ear.
