Good morning, all! I am not dealing with the McGlinnventory today because of sickness in the paralegal's family. That gives me a day here to work on Loesser music, run to the pharmacy, and maybe run up and close the storage space. All good.
DR JRand58, I did forget to tell you what else you have in common with David Charles Abell besides MAN OF LA MANCHA. It's KISS ME KATE!
David conducted the show last year for the Glimmerglass Opera, and he is now editing a new edition of the full orchestra score, to be published (I believe) by Alfred Publications and the Cole Porter Literary and Musical Properties Trust. When I was in DC, he and I spent an afternoon looking at a lot of the early KATE manuscripts.
TOD:
Tuck Everlasting
The Wind In The Willows
To Kill A Mockingbird (This will get a lot of votes here, I believe)
