I guss the universe is back in order: the whores are coming back to MySpace.  Ella wants to be my friend so I can see her naked pics.

I bought my Christmas gift to myself, too. New table fashions.

I called my mom and told her that my garage door was her Christmas present and I hope she likes it...she laughed

Hello, fellow Dear Readers! Underpants!

Yes, I have been both errant and truant, but I am now an officially fully trained monkey in a parking garage booth. It's not as boring as you would think, and even when it is boring, you find silly little ways to amuse yourself. Mostly involving rubber bands, because there are a lot of them in the booth.

I've told her and told her, but she seems too uncomfortable with it.  What can you do?

We could all post messages to her telling her how much we miss her and how we all believe her English was great and you could tell her to log on and read the messages.

Just my feeble attempt at humor!    :)

And my feeble attempt to keep it going...

Cilla-I figured you would end up with a new door opener. I'm sure you will be very happy to have it this winter.:)

I figured I'd need a new opener, but not springs, track door and the whole ball of wax.

The funny thing is the garage door guy knew the previous owner of this house and was commenting on how cheap he was...I said I knew that by all the things that needed to be replaced in the house. He told me the previous owner wouldn't even take his wife out to dinner because it would cost too much. Yikes!

Well, since dark chocolate is so good for you, and since it is very cold, and since I've been very good all day...I'm going to go make a dark chocolate mocha with skim milk.  YUMMY!

Hmm, wonder if that's headed for SW Ohio?

DR Cillaliz - Sorry you have another expense, but I'm glad you're getting the garage door fixed properly by replacing the whole thing.  Especially before winter rolls in for the long haul.

November's grantseeking basics class only had 6 attendees.  Half of them were from the arts, including 2 board members from the Dayton Mandolin Orchestra.

Well, I'm off.  I need to go home and put in my contact lenses and get something to eat, then to the theater.  Pray for Rosemary's Baby!

And writing "eat your vegetables" on the five-dollar bills you are going to give out as change.

Yep. So if anybody here gets a five that says "eat your vegetables," you'll know where it came from.

Thanks Ginny. I'm still adjusting from the world of a really good salary to the world of the unknown where expenses seem to fall out of the sky without a moment's notice.  It freaks me out a little, but I'm so much happier than I was before that this too shall pass.

And I'm sure Cilla's mother loved her Christmas present.  I know I would appreciate such a gift from my children.

I say this with complete sincerity.

Probably not, but you never know. Parking garages are strange places.

Are you  inside the garage or in a little house out in the hot hot sun??
