What are you doing DR TCB?My firend, Cynthia, and her husband wanted me to come over to their house for dinner. But I feel a little uncomfortable eating at someone else's house, and not knowing how my body is going to react. So, we decided on a compromise. They are bringing me dinner to my house, serving me, and then going home to their own dinner.Very nice people.Very nice of them & easier for you. I like the compromise.

For the filling he is substituting a vegan cream cheese. I expect with tons of powder sugar & vanilla it will be tasty.
Does anyone know whether or not they decided to pull the big balloons from tomorrow's Macy's Parade?
We returned from church about an hour ago and now I have 2 pumpkin pies in the oven. Our house is going to start smelling really good pretty soon!

DR TCB - I am thankful that you have such good friends nearby to see that you have festive food tomorrow!

Tomorrow he will flour, season & fry it & serve it with mushroom gravy.

You don't like parades, or you don't like Macy's?I think I have only watched the Macy's parade a few times. I've been to the Rose Parade several times & it was fun. I used to watch it at home & haven't in a long while now.
Hello-I guess I'd better think about packing for my trip to Buffalo in the morning. I think this may be the first time in memory that snow isn't expected for the holiday weekend there.
