It was looking to be a productive day at work too until 3:30 when a phone call ruined the next 2 1/2 hours

But the good news was that Vixdad's car was fixed so I drive to the dealership where I waited for 15 minutes while some old mechanic was regaling another customer with the tales of his weathertelling bones, apparently his back and knee could foretell the fall of the snow within an inch

They couldn't however alert him to the nonstop ringing of the phone (which he never answered) or to my presence (which he likewise ignored so absorbed was he in telling how his chiropractor relied so entirely on his bones' amazing weather forecasting prowness

Finally another mechanic wandered in, asked me if I there to pickup a car and started to help me. Then the phone rang again he answered and immediately put it on hold. I told him to take the call and that the phone had been ringing non stop fior 15 minutes without being answered

It was a customer seeking the status of their car (mind you the shop was now due to close in 15 minutes and we are expecting a blizzard to start tonight)

The younger guy helping me asked Mr Weatherbones if the car was ready and he just shrugged and said ... "It kind of got buried in the shop". Which I took to mean that it was ignored , much like the phone and myself

Then I paid for Vixdad's car's repairs, (his car has been there since last Friday) took the key and headed off to the supermarket

The first supermarket I went to had absolutely no parking... People were circling the lots waiting for a space to open so I left there and went to a second market where parking was no problem but the lines to checkout went around the store

45 minutes later I finally had my mother's items and headed over to her house, but I could not tarry as I had to get back to the train station to get Vixdad at 8:15

I made it with a couple of minutes to spare so I popped into the 7 11 and bought a powerball ticket

When I got out of my car Vixdad was hopping mad... The check engine light was still on and it appeared that $261.00 and 5 days later the car was in the same shape as when it was brought in

Mind you his car first started showing problems on December 23rd so he's been without it for some time

The first mechanic (after 2 days) said the issue was related to something the dealership had done last visit and recommended he return there with it and thecar had been at the dealership since last Friday.

Nicky slept for about four and a half hours. When he woke up he was giving me some very strange looks. I believe he is totally baked.
